FALL COMMON ROOM - WEEK 3

The common room of the Fall Dorm has soft, dimmer lighting; plush carpet over wood; and several comfortable chairs and sectionals. A few big windows overlook the dormitory area of campus, but there is also a single, cozy bay window on one side.

A television and bluetooth surround-sound are here for Fall students who are more inclined to be tech savvy. In the cabinets under the entertainment stand are an assortment of board games, but the television does have a generic "free tv" app for shows and music.

Above the enormous center fireplace is a moody painting.

This week, there's something else.

specialty room.

Through a door on the first floor, there is an antigravity room. Stepping just a few feet through the doorway will lift everyone up into the air. The seating and most of the rest of the room remains somehow rightfully in place on the floor and will not move. Students, however, can grab pillows and blankets, cups or bowls, or other small items to bring into the air with them.

[here's a really cool trick. luke does that and taichi doesn't answer. instead, he stares for a really long moment before he looks like he's ready to burst into tears instead.

That sort of douses his frustrated anger.] Taichi...? [Dude, ur tears.]

It's okay. We're all here.

[give him a second to blink said-tears away. wow. what the fuck was that about? haha. wow. it's fine.]

[ :( worried ]

[very gently papping yamato's cheek with his bad hand. this would be easier if he let go of yamato's hand but whatever. consequences, etc.]

[ weakly raises the arm without the injured shoulder to gently push it away so taichi doesn't move his bad hand. no!!!! but also he's squeezing the other one so it's. fine. ]

[goalsides]

[he stops with face-paps but he does turn to curl up against him as best as he can without irritating more injuries on either of them. it's fine.]

[ghoststrums]

[ yamato is more worried about taichi's injuries because his aren't anywhere troubling for cuddles :/ except the shoulder :/ ]

[it's fine they are minorly healed so they aren't as terrible now! also yeah he just...would like to stay here, goodbye.]

[ghoststrums]

[ who's gonna make him move??? yamato????? bitch no he's keeping hold of him forever ]

[glad they're probably going to fall asleep like this. morons.]

[He frowns, and hesitates like he isn't sure what to offer to help.]

It's not fine. But--that's okay. I'm here to help you if you need it. If... you want to talk. When you're ready. All of you.

[...well. he has an argument but he's too tired to make it so he just kind of nods.]

[He's still frowning! Taichi being quiet really makes his hair stand on end!!]

[...after a few moments.]

...have you guys ever tried to see us when we disappear?

[darksubverted]

[His brows pinch.]

What do you mean? Like, visit you?

[goalsides]

Like...[...hm.] Never mind. We can talk about it later.

[This makes him frown in concern.]
