FALL COMMON ROOM - WEEK 3
common room.
The common room of the Fall Dorm has soft, dimmer lighting; plush carpet over wood; and several comfortable chairs and sectionals. A few big windows overlook the dormitory area of campus, but there is also a single, cozy bay window on one side.
A television and bluetooth surround-sound are here for Fall students who are more inclined to be tech savvy. In the cabinets under the entertainment stand are an assortment of board games, but the television does have a generic "free tv" app for shows and music.
Above the enormous center fireplace is a moody painting.
This week, there's something else.
specialty room.
Through a door on the first floor, there is an antigravity room. Stepping just a few feet through the doorway will lift everyone up into the air. The seating and most of the rest of the room remains somehow rightfully in place on the floor and will not move. Students, however, can grab pillows and blankets, cups or bowls, or other small items to bring into the air with them.

I bought something off of Luke. It's the same principle as what Taichi bought last week-- you guys can't read it since you didn't pay for it, but I'll share what I can. It's a cast list for our "show". There are head shot pictures of the dorm heads signed with their names, and then four completely black pictures that read "you? who?" and "students" on them. Then there's the actual cast list. It reads Hugo, Riku, Annie Sawyer and Iris Lana Amelia as Chad, Luke, Sally and Viola respectively.
They also name a few of the professors, but only the first four. And they have a list of how many students per dorm, no names yet. On top of all of that, the students who were around for debate and creative writing were named as "guest stars", which are usually character that cameo on a show for a little bit. The names we got for them weren't their real ones, either.

Another thing is what last week's group found. I don't know what happened to the copy Rupert had, since he... anyway, some of you might have already seen this, but. [ he takes out his phone and shares a picture he took of it ] A daycare is a place for little kids who need to be watched over while they're parents are at work until they can pick them up. Right now, the main guess for what this could be is... maybe the people who have been killed and expulsed are being kept somewhere else. There's no telling if that's what it really means and it's not just a sick joke, but... considering what we've seen of this place so far, I don't think it's completely out of the realm of possibility.

Someone used their mind-altering coupon on Viola to try and 'restore her original memories' and she managed to regain herself for about twenty seconds. I was thinking of doing the same for Luke, but I don't know if I should ask for the same thing or phrase it a different way. Any suggestions?

Wording is important, especially in regards to memory. "Restore" would be like returning it to its factory settings but if the magic of this place is blocking that route, then you'd need a different set of keywords to circumvent it.

In a few minutes, footfall comes carefully down the stairs, and Luke stops in front of the door to the common room. The strange sword held in his hand dissipates into fading light and vanishes. He lifts his other hand to curl and uncurl it.

Friends,
My friend Beauregard asked that we stay together from now on, for either she or I to move dorms. I didn't wish to uproot her after everything that has happened. But when she asked, I also realized what an opportunity this could be for our dorm to get ahead in these Dorm Wars.
I will be going undercover, pretending to switch my allegiance to the Winter Dorm. In truth, I will remain loyal to Fall. I will work to bring about the destruction of Winter Dorm from within. I have already gathered intel. Winter Dorm has confessed to putting the bucket above our door, and releasing chickens at the formal. Do with this what you will.
For the sake of keeping up appearances, we will have to pretend we are bitter enemies now. But I will remain your friend and ally, as will Frumpkin. He will return regularly so you can keep him up to date on what is happening in our dorm.
