FALL COMMON ROOM - WEEK 3

The common room of the Fall Dorm has soft, dimmer lighting; plush carpet over wood; and several comfortable chairs and sectionals. A few big windows overlook the dormitory area of campus, but there is also a single, cozy bay window on one side.

A television and bluetooth surround-sound are here for Fall students who are more inclined to be tech savvy. In the cabinets under the entertainment stand are an assortment of board games, but the television does have a generic "free tv" app for shows and music.

Above the enormous center fireplace is a moody painting.

This week, there's something else.

specialty room.

Through a door on the first floor, there is an antigravity room. Stepping just a few feet through the doorway will lift everyone up into the air. The seating and most of the rest of the room remains somehow rightfully in place on the floor and will not move. Students, however, can grab pillows and blankets, cups or bowls, or other small items to bring into the air with them.

[ he's still wearing the cat hoodie. ]

[he uses the frostbitten hand to pet one of the ears of the hoodie.]

Why not? S'kinda cute. [there is blood all over this hoodie and they are both delirious and stupid. and also in front of god and everyone.]

[ghoststrums]

[ he squints a bit at the hoodie ]

... I wasn't even wearing that in there. [ grumbling ] And the color's bad.

[ why camo. also he's letting this happen because yeah they ARE both delirious and stupid, he's not even reacting properly ]

[also squinting a little.]

That's the thing you have a complaint about?

[ghoststrums]

... It's more like something Mimi would wear, but it's comfortable.

[ so yes that is his main complaint ]

[considering he's still partially buried in it, yeah, it's comfortable.]

...you'll tell me more about it later. [this is apparently not a question.]

... Will you tell me about yours?

[ yamato will MAKE IT a question ]

[...oh, this backfired.]

I'll try, alright? I think everybody needs to hear some things about mine.

[ghoststrums]

[ it takes a second but he nods slightly, seemingly accepting it ]

... I think. Only the last part of ours mattered.

Later. [he seems to have calmed down at least and he's a little more talkative, even if he's mostly burrowed into yamato's hoodie as carefully as possible. but he does mumble something into yamato's shoulder instead.]

What? [ squeezing taichi's hand and sort of. leaning into him as much as possible without either of them hurting each other ]

[nope. it's bedtime. he's just going to stay exactly where he's at, good night.

he's also not letting go of the hand though.]

[ ... well, he's not gonna push, so yeah, i guess they are falling asleep holding hands vaguely curled into each other on a couch as yamato leans on a pillow.

they're going to be so uncomfortable tomorrow ]
