FALL COMMON ROOM - WEEK 3

The common room of the Fall Dorm has soft, dimmer lighting; plush carpet over wood; and several comfortable chairs and sectionals. A few big windows overlook the dormitory area of campus, but there is also a single, cozy bay window on one side.

A television and bluetooth surround-sound are here for Fall students who are more inclined to be tech savvy. In the cabinets under the entertainment stand are an assortment of board games, but the television does have a generic "free tv" app for shows and music.

Above the enormous center fireplace is a moody painting.

This week, there's something else.

specialty room.

Through a door on the first floor, there is an antigravity room. Stepping just a few feet through the doorway will lift everyone up into the air. The seating and most of the rest of the room remains somehow rightfully in place on the floor and will not move. Students, however, can grab pillows and blankets, cups or bowls, or other small items to bring into the air with them.

[Well okay. He can give Riku a tiny smile in return. But it only lasts for a second before he's glancing down at the sword.]

Why the sword? Is there danger?

I don't know... [He sounds a bit worried, but not entirely confident in whether there's truth in the idea of danger.] But...

The keyblade is a part of who I am. It's... a part of my heart. So I always have it with me in case there's trouble.

[Riku he's not good with metaphors.]

It's one you can wield with the strength of your heart. [He prods Lalli in the chest right over the heart.] It took me a long time to realize...

...having a strong heart isn't just about power. You have to be kind and not afraid, too.

[He looks down at where Riku poked him, reaching up with a hand to rub at that spot a moment later. Then he looks up to Riku.]

Oh. That kind of magic.

[Maybe he gets it?]

[Praying Lalli gets it.]

A little hypocritical of me to tell you magic wasn't real, huh? Sorry about that.
