In the common room, the walls have been painted with photo-like pictures of forests and lakes, and spread across the ceiling is a depiction of the night sky. One wall is lined with bookcases, the books ranging from fiction to non-fiction as well used course textbooks. More bookcases have been used to section off one corner for a study area, with a desk and chair provided.

Elsewhere, there are a few couches (one looks as though it doesn't quite belong) and chairs, most seated around a coffee table and with throw blankets tossed over them if you need the extra warmth. On the table is a bowl of healthy and semi-healthy snacks, regularly stocked. (Nearby is a garbage can.)

This week, it looks like things are getting into the holiday spirit.

Past an entrance in the common room, a mini coffeehouse has been set up, with express machines for those who just want their coffee now and slightly more advanced equipment for aficionados. It offers a variety of strength levels and flavors to accommodate tastes all across the spectrum, along with a teapot and packets of caffeinated and non-caffeinated tea for those who prefer a different drink. There's a sink if you want to use your own mug, but otherwise, disposable cups are provided for you to use.

Pasted on the wall by the coffee machines is a detailed but clear handwritten guide on how to use said machines, complete with illustrations. There are also cute little doodles of Spring Dorm residents using the machines and drinking coffee, though they look as though they were done by someone else.

[sometime after execution... well, if you're in the dorm, you'll hear someone swearing from the third floor, before what sounds like something being thrown towards the ground, and something shattering.

a bit after that, chad storms down the staircase, cuts on his hands and with a furious expression. his eyes are bright red, it looks like his head hurts, and should you try to approach him, you might feel the hints of some kind of energy whirling around him, pushing you back—before it disappears, as his eyes return to purple, and his face settles more on the grim side rather than looking like he's about to shank someone.]

H-- [ she cuts herself off from whatever she was about to say, shounenly trying to run at him despite the aura of shanking ]

Chad! What.. what happened?

[inaccordant]

[he looks at her, transitioning increasingly into a state of eerily calm.]

That's not my name.

... Hugo. Are you.... you're you?

[ this makes no sense but hopefully he knows what she means ]

Yes. I don't know how long it'll last, but this has been longer than the other times so far, at least.

[feytality]

[ gonna try to put her handsie on his shoulder if he lets her ]

I saw that... spending vouchers helps you guys... is that true? Is there another way we can help?

[he will not and instead backs away.]

Focus on helping yourselves first. In any case, I don't know for sure what the exact triggers would be.

Sakyou'd returned to grab some things after the execution, so he's here! And he's looking startled at the sounds from upstairs, and then the Chad appearing, and this Funky Fuckin Energy thing that's happening here. Naturally he tries to move forward despite the energy pushing back, but he's quick to come to a stop once he can actually approach, hands hovering awkwardly in the air between them.]

—Chad?!

[inaccordant]

[he takes in a breath, looking calmer by the moment but in the kind of way where it's a little off.]

That's not who I am.

[Oh. Hm. Anyway since they're all here together he'll just glance at Maya and mouth "Hugo?" before looking back.]

--Ah... You were able to come back to yourself...?

It looks that way.

[There's a little flicker of relief in his face.]

Welcome back, then. For however long it may last... [GOD. Though while on the topic:] --Does it do more harm than good, trying to remind you while you're not yourself?

It doesn't do any real harm as far as I can tell, but I can't say it did any particular good either.

I don't know for certain. Most likely, it had to do with voucher exchanges.
