Good day. They say that idle hands are the devil's playthings, don't they? So if you'd be kind enough to entertain me, please gather at the "Bakery" at dusk.

No one is in the halls as the two of them creep to the "Bakery".

Before they knock, the door will open before their knuckles so much as touch against the surface of the door. The room is filled with the comforting and warm aroma of assorted baked goods, along with the occasional stray scent of something that doesn't belong - is that hot sauce? A table has been set off to the side, topped off with an elegant tablecloth and a vase full of fresh flowers that certainly aren't there during business hours. The table is set for teatime with a kettle full of perfectly steeped tea, dainty containers of sugar and milk, and a small tower filled with sweets this week. A lot of them look handmade!

In addition, there appears to be a few items handwritten on fine stationary in curling calligraphy, though it appears a bit shaky in sections. For your use, there also appears to be a pen, a highlighter, and a small pad of sticky notes.

» Members of the Honor Society have the following responsibilities: conduct searches for killers, assist others in completing their Extra Credit Assignments, and encouraging the exchange of vouchers for goods and services on campus.

» Each week, the Honor Society must agree upon one person to conduct a search on. They will be able to know if this person has killed, if they possess an additional role, and receive a list of every person they have conversed with over the past week.

» Members of the Honor Society will be expected to report upon their progress of assisting others with Extra Credit. If Members of the Honor Society have successfully assisted others, they will be able to receive one voucher themselves as well as additional information gleaned by the Society Director.

» Of course, the greatest organizations are meant to grow and evolve. Some weeks, you will be able to select provide a list of three to four additional candidates of who you would like to invite to join the Honor Society. Viola will approve one person's membership, limitations and growth pending.

» Outside of the Honor Society, you may not express your membership to anyone. Each week, one person outside of the Honor Society may be made aware of its existence and its membership. You must all agree on this person before telling them. However should that number be broken, grave consequences will follow.

Wiwaldi did a real great job, here, making a bunch of teenagers sit down to contemplate the death of a murderer acting against her own will...

Did anyone talk to her, yesterday or today? Get any information out of her? So that we can at least be - prepared.

I've been thinking about it, for a while. The other pair-- the ones who are likely to be recruiting, same as us. I think... they must have the opposite job, too. If everything in this place is some kind of sick show-- what's more entertaining than a game of cat and mouse?

[ cops and robbers! the robbers are murderers. ]

If Otome has a partner in her "role"... Do you think she's with them?

Would that I could discount the possibility, but we know naught of what she does.

But I... cannot help but wonder if that is the case. I had thought it could end with Byleth—but what do we do if there are more? Simply keep targeting them, over and over?

... we do have something of a deadline for getting things figured out. I don't know if your dorms purchased information today, but ours did. It's not completely confirmed, but we probably have four weeks left.

Two spring and two summer, to fit the pattern. And the victims and expelled are working on their end of things - they're still alive?

So we either need to figure out how to break the cycle permanently, or we... just have to power through until the end.

The other thing that's kind of bothering me is this pattern... Every week, one of the murders has two culprits.

... She said she helped Rupert with Bradley, not Lan Wangji. So there's a third, from that first week. And ... probably a fourth from this one.

[ he looks like he might be a little sick when he says: ]

I think it might be Luxanna. She was-- from the way she's been acting, since yesterday.

We can investigate Luxanna early next week. If it's either her or Caleb... we'll have it narrowed down.

We can hit one of them with a sensory deprivation spell, if we wanna try to prevent them from killing. I have one, as you know. I'd like to use it on Byleth, but...

... I could try to talk Denji into using one, too.

If it is Caleb... We can't tell Beau.

[ which puts them in a spot. ]

If you can convince Denji to use his on Byleth, it'd be for the best, because otherwise if it's obvious you're the one who asked...

[ he doesn't necessarily look... queasy, but the way his expression twists up is clearly in displeasure. ]

Same as everything else they've done so far, right? It's all a sick joke.

... Yeah. And... it explains why they can't say anything, right?

As if being, I don't know, caught for murder isn't enough, right? But if they're being forced into it, then it would check out. It's better for the drama if you're caught - or if you can keep going.

There's got to be a reason why they're doing it, even if they're not being controlled. But that doesn't... but there's no way I can turn a blind eye to that anyway.

Doesn't matter how well she can fight if we don't let her.

I've still got my coupon for a sensory deprivation spell, along with two deadly spells.

Yeah. And we've got options along with that. Poisoning, drowning... [ still not happy, but ]

I'm probably going to buy the movement of my arm back today or tomorrow.

For the record, the two spells I've got are Fireball and Tidal Wave. You can probably guess what they do.

I'm only telling you guys for right now. That way if I'm... you know, one of the ones out there, they'll be less inclined to look at me for having only one functioning arm.

... we could probably do something with Tidal Wave and the pool if we really wanted to. I don't think Fireball would be a safe bet unless we could find a way to cover it up.

I haven't told anyone what spells I have besides you guys.

Caleb knows I have one capable of wide-range destruction, but nothing beyond that.
