SUMMER COMMON ROOM - WEEK 4

The common room is as bright and open as the rest of the dorm. Beanbag chairs and even more hammocks are situated around for any of your resting needs, because who needs couches? There are a few blankets on the couch just for comfort, but the temperature is never cold enough to need them because of chill. There's also an absurd amount of pillows.

The walls are decorated with paintings that are either modern art pieces or done by kindergarteners. There are also photographs tacked onto the walls as well, of seemingly random things like a vase of flowers, a mailbox, a bird on a tree branch. The photos are less about grand views and feels more like someone testing out a camera.

On a table is a welcome basket.

In the common room, there's a door that leads to what can only be described as an Occult Room for some strange reason. Unlike the rest of the dorm, this room is dimly lit and is crowded with items—a skeleton that may or may not be real, taxidermy animals, really creepy looking dolls, an actual coffin, etc. On a table to the side is a Ouija board, a few tarot decks, and crystal ball.

[ how far away is nier standing? it doesn't matter, because mabel is absolutely shrieking at him at the top of her lungs. ]

[ Wow. Okay. Alarm??? ]

It's still cold out?

Well maybe you should've thought of that before kicking me out!

I asked if you would want to move, not that I'm kicking you out.

[ HE DOESN'T OWN THIS DORM ]

You think I could stay here anymore knowing you want to get rid of me?!

[ she picks up the nearest uhhhh mug, i guess, that seems like a normal thing to be laying around in a common room, and throws it at Nier's head with more strength than you would expect of her. ]

[amain]

[ Nier will catch the mug. He’s unfortunately physically apt. ]

I said I think this dorm might not be a good place for you, not that I want you gone.

[foreversweaterweather]

[ scoffs and mutters: ]

Whatever.

[ and then goes back on her merry way of leaving the dorm with all the pillows and blankets and also at least 3 squirrels ]

[ Alphinaud is just over here looking on in confusion? Nier? Hello? ]

[amain]

[ WHY ARE YOU LOOKING AT HIM ]

[arcsplainist]

[ Because ?????

He comes up closer, asking in a hushed voice: ]

What did you tell her?

[amain]

[ Sighs... The weariness and guilt is definitely here. He knows he screwed up?? But still. ]

I told her that the dorm might not be a good place for her to be...

[ FOR GOOD REASONS? GOOD INTENTIONS? There are no nefarious emotions here. ]

Because of...?

[ He trails off, quietly canting his head in whichever direction Otome may be in. ]

[amain]

[ He doesn’t answer, but the emotions are affirming Alphinaud’s guesses?

The vibes here are just… Not the same anymore! Someone killed someone’s boyfriend under this roof!!! And some more deaths in this roof!

And more deaths from this roof against other roofs! ]

Things aren’t how they could be.

... I suppose you have a point. She seems upset, though.

… She’s mostly upset with me, so it’s fine. Once we work things out here, she can come back if she wants to.

[ SHE WONT CAUSE NIER SOMEHOW BURNED THAT BRIDGE ]
