SUMMER COMMON ROOM - WEEK 4

The common room is as bright and open as the rest of the dorm. Beanbag chairs and even more hammocks are situated around for any of your resting needs, because who needs couches? There are a few blankets on the couch just for comfort, but the temperature is never cold enough to need them because of chill. There's also an absurd amount of pillows.

The walls are decorated with paintings that are either modern art pieces or done by kindergarteners. There are also photographs tacked onto the walls as well, of seemingly random things like a vase of flowers, a mailbox, a bird on a tree branch. The photos are less about grand views and feels more like someone testing out a camera.

On a table is a welcome basket.

In the common room, there's a door that leads to what can only be described as an Occult Room for some strange reason. Unlike the rest of the dorm, this room is dimly lit and is crowded with items—a skeleton that may or may not be real, taxidermy animals, really creepy looking dolls, an actual coffin, etc. On a table to the side is a Ouija board, a few tarot decks, and crystal ball.

[ As always, there is tea and snacks. That is never going away. The snacks this time are all decorated for Valentine's, and there is a lot of chocolate.

Besides that, there are a lot more flowers in the dorm all over the place, like someone probably robbed things that were blooming outside to deposit it here. It's fine. There's also a pile of board games in the corner. Maybe a certain dorm is in need of some bonding time after a problematic weekend? A note next to it all reads,

Good afternoon, everyone; I hope you all fare well today.

After the previous Monday, I thought it best that we all meet at the start of each week and see how we are all managing. [ And thus, here he is. Alphinaud is not standing this time, though, instead speaking from a seat in the common room. ] 'Tis an excellent time to pool together what we know, and if you are lost for any reason, pray speak up, and I shall do my utmost to assist.

Speaking of, like last time, I am available to aid in any weekly tasks and extra credit. I hope you are all spending vouchers where possible, as well—ah. And do make sure to attend class.

[On Tuesday evening, there are now a bunch of squirrels in Suite 1 (Byleth, Mabel and Nier's suite).]

[ That was an eventful evening before lockdown and he doubts anyone will be able to sleep any time soon. ]

We were left a bunch of board games. Maybe we should make the most of them.

... We should also still perform a check. [ She's?? Slumped on the couch, but she's fine, her injuries have much improved though the acid burns are still chillin'. ]

You can ask about my trip, but I'll toss this out first. [ His piece of paper is this! ] This is what stayed with my group, so I'm guessing this is the clue though I'm not sure what it means. At all.

It was similar to what people have said. It preys on us by bringing people from home or here... This time, however, I don't think any of us suffered from memory issues there. A part of me wish I did since the first part was especially... Awful.

[ well. after that invest and that body announcement...suddenly summer dorm is feeling pretty dang empty. and Mabel doesn't know what else to do, so...

she heads down to the common room and puts Waddles dead center on the table. A sign in front of him reads "EMOTIONAL SUPPORT PIG." ]

You can hug him if you want! Or cuddle with him. Or play games. Really he's easygoing!

[ she looks very proud of herself for this ingenious idea. ]

[Mandricardo is...............in the corner! Just. Sitting. Gloomily.]

[That's it, he's just having extremely Bad Vibes as he just numbly watches the others.]

[ She doesn't touch him, she just kind of gazes at the pig with a bleak sort of heartbreak without moving. ]

[ Alphinaud, meanwhile, can't really pace around, so he's just hovering by a window with—naturally—a cup of tea in hand. He looks deep in thought, with a heavy air about him, but otherwise, he's hanging out, only looking up as Mabel comes in with Waddles. ]

Sunday Info

[ Otome continues to look like she needs a (dirt) nap, but it's fine. She clears her throat and her voice is hoarse, but it's fine! ]

I talked to Annie earlier and purchased the newest document from her. [ It's a blank paper! It's fine. ]

On one side is the title of the pilot script-- Wiwaldi Academy: Four Seasons of Drama. It's been stamped to indicate it was cancelled, but it also has a lot of handwritten comments in red that say things like...

[ She peers at the paper. ]

"Don't you want a place to belong?" and "Be with your friends forever" and others along those lines. And on the back... it says "finish the story".

[Mandi is looking...less crispy! But still burned, and definitely rocking some bandages all over him. He's wearing loose clothing.]
