as for the other three - lucretia looks down at her palm, and there is a red eye right there in the middle. funky. otome doesn't see anything since she's wearing long sleeves, but there's a faint red glow from under her sleeve. oh - and for her, when she slips the ring on, she feels comforted, for a moment. a flash of sensation, like being hugged by a family member.
and when they get close to malik - they can see a red eye on the back of malik's hand, covering a red glow on the back of his neck.]

and - denji would open the cabinet and peek around, except that the second he touches it, the cabinet growls at him. which is weird, because cabinets aren't known for that. cabinets also aren't known for opening to reveal teeth and a tongue, but that's what this one is doing! two, spindly wood arms shoot around from the back and grab denji to attempt to force him into the cabinet mouth. it's gonna bite him too. om nom nom.

denji is doing some pretty fierce damage to this thing, but it is doing just as much to try and eat him still, so denji can expect to be munched on a few times, biting at whatever it can reach. leg chomp, shoulder chomp, torso chomp.
it doesn't have that much HP though, so getting hit with an axe is going to probably make this thing die pretty fast, and plus denji is now not being grappled.
malik's just over here. looking at the horn and the mask. they feel like familiar items to him. they don't send him to the shadow realm or give him more eyes!]
