SUMMER COMMON ROOM - WEEK 5

The common room is as bright and open as the rest of the dorm. Beanbag chairs and even more hammocks are situated around for any of your resting needs, because who needs couches? There are a few blankets on the couch just for comfort, but the temperature is never cold enough to need them because of chill. There's also an absurd amount of pillows.

The walls are decorated with paintings that are either modern art pieces or done by kindergarteners. There are also photographs tacked onto the walls as well, of seemingly random things like a vase of flowers, a mailbox, a bird on a tree branch. The photos are less about grand views and feels more like someone testing out a camera.

On a table is a welcome basket.

In the common room, there's a door that leads to what can only be described as an Occult Room for some strange reason. Unlike the rest of the dorm, this room is dimly lit and is crowded with items—a skeleton that may or may not be real, taxidermy animals, really creepy looking dolls, an actual coffin, etc. On a table to the side is a Ouija board, a few tarot decks, and crystal ball.

Yeah, it doesn’t. At least it confirms that the pocket dimension and wish are just part of the script.

Too bad, it would've been nice to rely on a higher power and not just our wits to solve problems.

I've always found that higher powers are oppressive and cruel, anyway. It's better to eradicate them.

Yeah, if it's a choice between getting a wish and getting rid of the thing behind this place, I'd choose the latter.

... Unless the wish can be letting all our wishes be granted and making sure this doesn't happen again.

[ sometimes! violence is the answer! It does simmer down. ]

If there is a wish at all waiting for us, you mean. [ ... ] I do hope it's real.

[shaft]

Me too. I don't care if it's childish. If nothing else, being here has made me believe anything is possible.

[amain]

Being here showed me you can easily buy manipulation powers with currency.

Even if there's no wish, it'll be all right.

[shaft]

[ That gets him to grin. ]

I like your confidence. Guess I better believe it then.

If there's no opportunity, you have to make one, right?

[ Force chances!! ]

He tosses an arm around Nier's neck and gives him a lil squeeze. ]

You're exactly right. We'll make it work.

[amain]

We have to.

[ Nier nuzzles his cheek against Claude's head because he's close. Furry week is killing me. ]
