[ hmmmm. ] I hate to say that I think the fact we ended up right here outside the school itself suggests we should look around, but we can always file that and check back later.

If not the school, then what about that huge tower just over there?

That's cool! But literally everyone in mine came back bleeding or very, very bruised when we all reunited, so we should be careful. We don't have vouchers here, so we can't help ourselves if... [........] Oh, wow, we can't heal ourselves if anything goes wrong. That's... a problem! I feel like that's going to be a problem. Wow.

Alright, thataway it is! [ He has no complaints about this apparently, since he very idly (AND WITH SOME MORE PROPER SNACKS THANKS CAFE AND KITCHEN) wanders off that way. ]

[onward to the eiffel tower!

realistically, it should take them a long time to get there. but this is miraculous ladybug paris, where everything is within easy reach, and also a weird cyoa dimension, so they're able to walk there. it's fine. everything is fine.

(everything is not fine. as they get closer and closer to the tower, each one of them will start to feel an overwhelming negative feeling. it starts off slowly at first - perhaps as an uneasy feeling in the pit of their stomachs, or a brief flash of irritation, or the like - but the closer they get to the tower, the stronger that feeling becomes.)]

As they start approaching it, he'll stop and turn back to the others.]

I still have a healing power from when I was on campus. I think. If I can still use it.

What about the opposite way. Maybe stuff with bad vibes means answers.

if they're pausing, the vibes just stay as they are for now. will they continue on toward the tower or head back to the school?]

Easiest thing would be to move just a street away and see if it changes. But either way, we have to keep going in some direction.

[ ... hmm. well. he's going to keep walking forward for the moment, just a little to see if the feeling continues to intensify. also, is there anything changing in the scenery around them? or does everything just look normal? ]

You know that figuring something out in these things is usually incredibly unpleasant, right...

[SIGH. but he's hesitating for a second, before:]

[because he's going to take a few steps back towards the school to see if the feeling dissipates at all. he'll be back in one second unless britt kills me immediately.]

[ He will actually take a step back with Rupert, though. He actually doesn't want to be feeling these things. ]

[a car drives by and smacks right into rupert, sending him flying into the side of the eiffel tower.






no, i'm kidding. as crow steps closer to the tower, the vibes intensify. as rupert and aikawa step away, they lessen. nothing changes for bradley, who is standing still.]

Bein' totally blind to whatever the fuck is happening goes even worse.

[Addressed to Rupert, who is not dead yet.]

Listen, if ya pull the mask off, maybe you'll get a better nickname.

[ crow just inhales sharply through his nose. there's something very cold, and dark and dead in his eyes when he glances over at the group. ]

...It got better when I started walking away.

[a beat, and a sigh.]

Look, I cannot think of a bigger warning sign than bad feelings suddenly starting when we go in a specific direction, can we please go back to the school?

[that said, he'll agree if the others want to go towards the tower.]

[ He appears to have completely ignored Bradley. ]

Hey, if there's nothing important at the school, we can try again, right...

as they're discussing this, nothing changes in terms of their vibes since they do not yet appear to be moving, but they might catch a flicker of movement near crow - a butterfly with a dark blackish-purplish sheen is fluttering toward him.]

[That horrible purple butterfly looks familiar.

Which means he's reaching out for Crow, tamping down on the bad vibes. Or trying to.

Bradley will try to drag him away from the tower.]

[ well he's not really trying to fight being dragged away, even if he does go very tense when he feels a hand suddenly on him, tugging him back.


he's letting himself be pulled though. ]

[as he watches bradley drag crow away from the tower...]

Okay, cool. So we're all going back, right...?

[headsplitter]

Sounds like a plan!

[ Look who sounds super nonchalant even if it's totally not okay. Either way, he's turning right around and heading straight for the school, then! How's that looking O wise Britt? ]

[bradley pulls crow away from the butterfly! it flutters harmlessly in the air for a moment before turning and flying toward him again. it's in hot pursuit!

...

but as they all move away from the tower and to the school, the bad vibes lessen, and then vanish entirely as they get in front of the school building again. once the bad vibes vanish, the butterfly gets bored of the chase and flutters away.

they are now on the street in front of the school. steps lead up to the closed doors. what now, my dudes.]
