With such a busy day, they should go rest at the inn! Thankfully, it's free to say. Less thankfully, the only room left available has only two single beds. Time to figure out how you're going to share, although maybe you're experts at this after your dorm sorting.

Mollymauk and Sakyou Sagihara are two travellers who hail from the Present.
During his travels, Mollymauk entered a relationship with a young noblewoman and eventually became engaged with her. In order to earn her family's approval, he promised them a hefty dowry.
However, he then met Sakyou Sagihara and fell in love. As a result, he broke off his engagement with the woman. Still, he owes the family the dowry he agreed to, and so he must now find a way to earn money and pay what he promised. Sakyou, in his undying love for Mollymauk, has agreed to help pay off this debt.

Unfortunately, Mollymauk has also incurred a large tab from the taverns he's been drinking at. Luckily, Sakyou did not make it worse.

During their journey together, they come across various cats in need. They elect not to adopt them, therefore not incurring further debt from taking care of them.
Dimitri Alexandre Blaiddyd and Caleb Widogast are two new actors who hail from the Future. While their new relationship is making all the tabloids, their actual acting abilities are... okay, giving them an average salary. Much of their wages go into paying off the 1,500,000 G Caleb's cat-hating drunkard ancestors left him with and that Dimitri generously agreed to help paid off in his undying love for him.
Caleb ends up adopting a few robotic cats. Their maintenance costs add to his debt.

Anyway, this is fine. Once they arrive in their single room with two beds, Sakyou's not too bothered by it. He's used to cramming into rooms with like five other bodyguards at a time, even having to bunk up so wildly on campus didn't bother him (but that is also why he fled to the lower floor).]

I was doing what I was repeatedly warned to do! Going along with the suggestions of the strange illusion! Anyway, I don't think there's anything for it but to just keep following it through.
