Bones cracking and rearranging themselves as he turns into a more distorted form of himself. Hector goes through something similar; her wings become larger, and his legs grow longer. Blood pours from her body as she bites and scratches at herself in a frenzy.
Tanaka just lets out a low whistle that is barely audible over the static. ]

and that that whine. he's clutching his mic still in his good hand, breathing shallowly, but he grits his teeth and tries to talk through it, forcing open an eye to look at miku properly, and feels his heart just wrench. ]

[ Miku freezes, and then scratches at Mabel's arm in an effort to get distance between them. Hector flies up, extremely wobbly, before swooping at Ichinose to bite at whatever is visible. Both animals shriek in pain as Tanaka continues. ]
[He watches, in horror, as Hector moves to fly up at Ichinose. Miku goes to scratch at her owner.]

[ At once, all four of them will feel an odd sensation on their backs, like something is breathing on their necks. And then what could be a hand on their shoulders, squeezing in a reassuring manner.

[ There's the sound of a snap, and then the static is back.
And then, all at once, Miku and Hector's bodies start to tremble. Hector lets out a soft noise, so quiet but audible to Mandricardo and Ichinose.
The static stops abruptly, and blood starts leaking from all of their orifices-- the four of them, and their two pets. Hector and Miku let out another sound before the both fall limp to the floor.
And Tanaka speaks, chipperly. ]

[And there's just. The strange sensation of something wet coming down his cheeks. How odd. He's not crying. Nobody's dropped any kind of liquid on him.]
