The common room of the Fall Dorm has soft, dimmer lighting; plush carpet over wood; and several comfortable chairs and sectionals. A few big windows overlook the dormitory area of campus, but there is also a single, cozy bay window on one side.

A television and bluetooth surround-sound are here for Fall students who are more inclined to be tech savvy. In the cabinets under the entertainment stand are an assortment of board games, but the television does have a generic "free tv" app for shows and music.

Above the enormous center fireplace is a moody painting.

This week, there's something else.

specialty room.

Through a door on the first floor, there is an antigravity room. Stepping just a few feet through the doorway will lift everyone up into the air. The seating and most of the rest of the room remains somehow rightfully in place on the floor and will not move. Students, however, can grab pillows and blankets, cups or bowls, or other small items to bring into the air with them.

What happened?

I... Let Futaba get hurt on a field trip.

[stands there with one hand on his hip

and one hand massaging the sockets of his eyes with his head tilted back.]

I'm sorry.

Okay.

[He drops his hand.]

What... do you need? Who is still hurt?

... Futaba and Taichi could probably use more medical attention. And...

[ she lifts up the knife of day t-shirt she is wearing to show the bandages wrapping all around her middle, with a blood stain showing that the wound underneath extends from her stomach all the way around her side. ]

[Great. He sighs. How is this happening? It doesn't make sense. He frowns.]

Hold on.

[He's going to leave and go back upstairs really quick.]

[ she's just trying to figure out if it's worth trying to snap him out of luke and into riku...

Are the others like this, too...? ]

[In a bit, he comes back down. He has a few random shirts, a plastic case of what is probably bandaids, and a baseball jersey.

He puts them down, but holds the baseball jersey up between two hands. He pauses a moment, frowning uncertainly...

...and then rips it in half.]

[ she just watches... ]

... Hey, Riku?

[He starts ripping each two piece into four.]

Not you, too. I'm going to have to change my name as much as everyone calls me that.

[ hm... ]

Do you remember our water fight, yesterday?

Yeah. You conned me into coming out so you could shoot me.

[He holds some of the strips out.]

Do you need these?

It's only a matter of time before I do.

[ always good to have spare bandages for when it's time to change these ones. so she takes them, gratefully. ]
