FALL COMMON ROOM - WEEK 6

The common room of the Fall Dorm has soft, dimmer lighting; plush carpet over wood; and several comfortable chairs and sectionals. A few big windows overlook the dormitory area of campus, but there is also a single, cozy bay window on one side.

A television and bluetooth surround-sound are here for Fall students who are more inclined to be tech savvy. In the cabinets under the entertainment stand are an assortment of board games, but the television does have a generic "free tv" app for shows and music.

Above the enormous center fireplace is a moody painting.

This week, there's something else.

specialty room.

Through a door on the first floor, there is an antigravity room. Stepping just a few feet through the doorway will lift everyone up into the air. The seating and most of the rest of the room remains somehow rightfully in place on the floor and will not move. Students, however, can grab pillows and blankets, cups or bowls, or other small items to bring into the air with them.

[In the common room is a large, plastic container of..........water balloons, along with a little funnel that makes filling them easier. Lying on the table beside the container are several heavy-duty water rifles, too.

On the table is a note:

[ i refuse to make this a full top level but there's a note for everyone in the common room that just reads

this week, let's take turns watching over riku by staying in his suite. just in case something happens. write your name down for a day? he agreed to this so it's not bullying.

there's a list of days from monday through sunday with empty name fields next to them. thursday is filled in with "common room sleepover" because they always all hang out in the common room on thursdays. REQUISITE RIKU SLEEPOVER WEEK ]

futaba is tiredly on the couch and she's got a paper from cyoa ]

It's about sequel ideas. There's a couple of movies and shows listed. like Pirates At World's End, Yu Yu Hakusho Episode 5, Chapter 17. But the most interesting one is Luke 24.

It might be useful to look into the specific episode/chapters mentioned but that's a later task.

[For reference, there is a pot full of curry and another pot of rice in the common room. Utensils and plates are also available? Can't wait for it to become someone's last meal, wowie.]

[ lux is now covered in... scars instead of cuts and bruises! all nice and healed up. except for the huge gash from her stomach to her side, which im handwaving has been bandaged up. but it's definitely not healed judging by how much blood is on that bandage. and she's still kind of holding one arm like it hurts, but it's not dangling limp and weird anymore.

she also refuses to sit down, so she's standing from a good vantage point to make sure she can see everyone else in the room at once. ]

I've... Never heard of any of these things.

[Okay, now that those have been dropped. Hey! The resident Dorm Head is coming into the common room, but something is trailing ahead of him:

...ad, Viola, Sally not answering. This again?

He freezes inside the doorway, shocked, and then staring.]

[Lalli is going to be here but he's immediately running upstairs to hide under a bed. So uh. Come join him in one of the suites to yell at him?]

[ lux is going to follow and sit down on the floor next to the bed.

[... Sir. Ichinose just stares while she watches him dart under a bed, probably on her way out of the bathroom.]

[ takes out a spray bottle and squirts him. no. bad lalli.

no but he does kneel so he can peer down at lalli in there ]

... You could have gotten yourself killed with that stunt.

[After a while, a pair of familiar sneakers appear beside the bed. And then a bowl is placed on the floor at the edge. It's full of cherries.

And then the sneakers start walking off.]

[Fall Dorm is still missing a bed, I hate this.

Back inside the common room, a little buffet has been spread out in whatever places can be found on the table, along with different assortment of fall flowers and leaves. The food is mostly finger and snack foods, but there's a lot of it, plus some drinks. And even... wow! Some alcohol! Strung from one corner of a few windows to another is a string with a bunch of different photos pegged to it, all of them of Fall Dorm doing various things.

There are probably some familiar and missed faces wandering around the dorm again, too!

A note is left by the food that says, Good job. Welcome home. but it isn't signed.]

But, sure, this is cute. Ichinose will pass out drinks and food to anyone who comes near her, like a grandma slipping a $10 into your pockets when your parents aren't looking, but she is also frowning at this unsigned note... Riku?? Sign your notes, young man???]

[ lux is just sitting here looking very fucking out of place.

like, when you expect to be mob-murdered and then an hour later you're having dinner with people who you're positive should want you dead?

she's got a plate of food but she's not even eating it, she's just. sitting here with it, looking around like she's waiting for the other shoe to drop. ]

He'll go upstairs and knock at Riku's door later on.

But he is taking the alcohol and looking over the pictures. It's been a while since the last time he was here. ]

[ Wowie! Someone is here though more because he probably got dragged here by Bradley and Lalli more than anything.

He is sitting in a corner nearest to the door. Happy for our reunion! ]
