FALL COMMON ROOM - WEEK 6
common room.
The common room of the Fall Dorm has soft, dimmer lighting; plush carpet over wood; and several comfortable chairs and sectionals. A few big windows overlook the dormitory area of campus, but there is also a single, cozy bay window on one side.
A television and bluetooth surround-sound are here for Fall students who are more inclined to be tech savvy. In the cabinets under the entertainment stand are an assortment of board games, but the television does have a generic "free tv" app for shows and music.
Above the enormous center fireplace is a moody painting.
This week, there's something else.
specialty room.
Through a door on the first floor, there is an antigravity room. Stepping just a few feet through the doorway will lift everyone up into the air. The seating and most of the rest of the room remains somehow rightfully in place on the floor and will not move. Students, however, can grab pillows and blankets, cups or bowls, or other small items to bring into the air with them.

[At first, he looks kind of typically perplexed. Sounds st... starts and dies off, and then ?? kinda.
Sounds... familiar...?
He looks away, but mostly through everyone else when his eyes scan the room, brows furrowing.]
I... don't know. Kind of cheesy... Who even told you that?

[He's silently hoping Riku remembers.]

[He lets his head tip back and rest on the wall by the door. Why does that sound so... familiar? Someone with spiky brown hair and blue eyes and a bright smile... Weird.
When he glances down again, his eyes idly land on Yamato and Taichi. Someone... with spiky brown hair... Behind his eyes, a headache forms. Who... does he know like that? S...? The pain splits through his temples, and he raises a hand to hold his face.
Who would tease... a blockhead... with a fruit...?]

The signs of those headaches are familiar by now, so Lalli is quick to reach over to steady Riku. No hitting heads on a fall!
But he says nothing further for the moment, he's waiting to see if it works or not. And to help Riku to the ground if he passes out.
...Lalli is a twig but he will still Try.]

Someone with spiky brown hair and blue eyes and a bright smile.
Who is that? Who is it? The hand over his face lowers, and he squeezes the place over his heart with his fingers. Someone important... Don't forget. Someone... they missed... Someone he missed? The name is right there, slipping through his fingers.

[It... Sora. It does... sound familiar, too. Sora. Like he's said it most of his life. Right. Right.
He... liked Kairi... so I... what? I... teased Sora about it. With the paopu fruit... He wanted to... try it... because he believes in... all that stuff.

[He scrabbles at the wall as he jerks away like he might launch himself out of the door and book it. But he runs into the door with a shoulder, and grabs onto it to to hold himself in place. Wow! He doesn't fall down! He lifts his head, breath labored.]

[Oh but he's not actually running, he's just crashing into a door and looks like absolute shit
He doesn't reach out again but he's hovering nervously now, his worry coming across clearly.

His eyes open. Right now he doesn't worry about it, but he's real glad he didn't fall on the floor in front of everyone. Why does he sound like he just did a triathlon?!]
