FALL COMMON ROOM - WEEK 6

The common room of the Fall Dorm has soft, dimmer lighting; plush carpet over wood; and several comfortable chairs and sectionals. A few big windows overlook the dormitory area of campus, but there is also a single, cozy bay window on one side.

A television and bluetooth surround-sound are here for Fall students who are more inclined to be tech savvy. In the cabinets under the entertainment stand are an assortment of board games, but the television does have a generic "free tv" app for shows and music.

Above the enormous center fireplace is a moody painting.

This week, there's something else.

specialty room.

Through a door on the first floor, there is an antigravity room. Stepping just a few feet through the doorway will lift everyone up into the air. The seating and most of the rest of the room remains somehow rightfully in place on the floor and will not move. Students, however, can grab pillows and blankets, cups or bowls, or other small items to bring into the air with them.

Our field trip went turned into a single player event for a while.

Think more resident evil than call of duty? Exploring by yourself with only a flashlight for company is terrible.

Uuuuuh, a wrecked slave ship for the most part. [ hello? ] I didn't really get a chance to explore the area outside it.

Yeah? I found plenty of journals and things all pointing to it. The captain sure left plenty of detailed notes too. [ a huff. good riddance to him- ]


Oh. I lost my pirate hat...!

Forget the hat, Futaba. At least you're okay. Uh. Mostly.

Totally okay! All my parts are still attached and healed all up. The only victim of our adventure was- [ everyone ] my poor hat.

Futaba. [He's quiet, but he sounds slightly angry.] Get it together.

Don't joke about it. [He, like, knows why she's joking. Because if she didn't, there'd be nothing left but something terrible. But he's worreid!] It's... okay not to joke about it.

[ her smile wobbles, but she's trying to keep it together. she's gotta be strong, right? she's gotta be able to say she managed too. she's trying, but it's falling hard and fast because she's really, really not okay ]

[Oh boy. Why does this keep happening to him?! He's garbage at this kind of thing!!!]

[ Everyone else was trying such nice methods to bring riku back but I guess she's just hitting his arm. Sadly. Like the gentlest kitten paps. He's too tall for her to thump him over his head. ]
