No one is in the halls as Nier creeps to the Student Health Service Office. The door opens, and Luke waves him inside.

There is a trendy plastic letter board standing up on the counter which reads:

DOCTOR WHO
● DOCTOR or WHO?
● DOCTOR will spare someone from execution on Sunday, but under certain conditions. WHO? will allow the removal of a single piece of evidence. If no evidence is known, use "wildcard" to make it random.
● This choice is only active during the current week.
● You have to pick one or the other (doctor or who), not both.
● Deadline is Tuesday, 6 PM.

Because we've been catching killers, right? But now things are a little different. [ wowww. ] They're working on looking for the last person with a role.

[ Me, watching it all happen and not sure what they will choose. ]

The group thinks the dean's list might be showing us something, so I think they're going to check into those people.

[ me, laughing ]

I'm not sure who they're going to use their power. They think we should try to approach some in person—more like have other people for it for us, but it's a plan in progress?

I really don't think the Dean's List is as important as you guys make it out to be. Not when Principal Bear is the one who does that.

[He glances up, thoughtfully.]

It isn't a bad idea. If you can figure out what the role might do, maybe you can narrow it down.

But I wouldn't give up just because people aren't talking to you about it. You couldn't talk to any other people, remember? They'll have to find ways to confirm it.

They think they got some kind of pattern out of it with the torn portraits meaning people without roles. If you think so, I can mention it, but...

[ They are sold on the dean's list, maybe. ]

Knowing what it might be able to do would make it easier. So far, it sounds like there's what I can do, then they have something that can identify others.

Most likely, this last person has something a little different than us, right?
