In the common room, the walls have been painted with photo-like pictures of forests and lakes, and spread across the ceiling is a depiction of the night sky. One wall is lined with bookcases, the books ranging from fiction to non-fiction as well used course textbooks. More bookcases have been used to section off one corner for a study area, with a desk and chair provided.

Elsewhere, there are a few couches (one looks as though it doesn't quite belong) and chairs, most seated around a coffee table and with throw blankets tossed over them if you need the extra warmth. On the table is a bowl of healthy and semi-healthy snacks, regularly stocked. (Nearby is a garbage can.)

This week, there's something.

Past an entrance in the common room, a mini coffeehouse has been set up, with express machines for those who just want their coffee now and slightly more advanced equipment for aficionados. It offers a variety of strength levels and flavors to accommodate tastes all across the spectrum, along with a teapot and packets of caffeinated and non-caffeinated tea for those who prefer a different drink. There's a sink if you want to use your own mug, but otherwise, disposable cups are provided for you to use.

Pasted on the wall by the coffee machines is a detailed but clear handwritten guide on how to use said machines, complete with illustrations. There are also cute little doodles of Spring Dorm residents using the machines and drinking coffee, though they look as though they were done by someone else.

I guess I did. Got to pilot a spacecraft. We fought an enemy ship and blasted it to smithereens.

Huh? I suppose. Maybe it's a good thing that I had the practice. There were a lot of lasers to dodge.

... Until we got sucked into a vortex and crashed. Which was not my fault.

That musta been exciting.....

Well, not the crash. Why were there vortexes in space, anyway?

I don't know, our... navigators [hesitant] told us to go through this corridor, to find the "world at the end of the world," or something...

So we could get to where Riku was.

Did you find Riku?

... Yeah...


His "heart" found its way to us, and anchored itself to Yamato. But we ended up having to fight the thing possessing his body, and...

... Sorry. We couldn't bring him back whole.

[feytality]

[ ..... ]

But you brought.... some of him back?

[overlimit]

I think so. It's hard to tell, but it looked like he was still with Yamato when we left.

[feytality]

That's good. So.. there's a chance for him.

[ maya pulls out hugo's pocketwatch.... it's more broken, now. ]

.... We couldn't save Hugo.

... Are you okay?

I don't know... if it was really him... there was so much fake stuff and illusions.

[ also she spent like 40% of that cyoa literally dying so she missed big chunks ]

[she'll put an arm around her in a half-hug...]

... It's not over yet.

[ scooching closer to put her arm around rita, too..... leans her head against rita's ]

Right. We don't know what will happen tomorrow.....

I've got some idea of what I want to have happen tomorrow. It's just a matter of following through.

[and maybe hoping that the entire school doesn't fall apart before they can do anything.]
