No one is in the halls as Claude creeps to the Library. As there were no further directions, they will have to walk around in confusion for a while before they find Sally in a secluded corner near the back. In front of her are two teas, and she'll push one towards you when she spots you.

On the table next to the cups, there are a few sheets of paper. On the top one, in purple gel pen ink, there seems to be something written.

» You will have special power over the rest of the student body. This will allow you to create rules and obligations that the others will have to follow or face consequences.

» You may choose a rule or obligation that all of the student body will be subject to. A rule will be added to the student handbook, and if broken, the student will be given a punishment. An obligation is an effect that the students will be compelled to do. You can only choose one of the options each week.

» You may choose what day these things are applied. However, for rules, it cannot be added any later than Wednesday, or else it will roll over to the following week.

» You may also choose to give two students their own specific rule or obligation. You can give them either the same one or different ones, but you must choose between the two types.

The future can be quite terrifying, especially when you know whatever's coming is likely bad!

[ And for a second, he really does look scared, anxiety in the furrow of his brows. ]

I'm worried this story will make you and the others into villains.

[ And we'll be forced to kill you. ]

[departea]

[ there's a pause, and she'll reach for his hand to squeeze it lightly. ]

[ He looks weirdly freaked out by this suggestion. ]

[ it's generally strange, since she already has a weird relationship with death. she treats her own rather casually, if she's honest, since at this point it's just... part of her. if she spends too much focus on thing about the horrors of it, she'd just go mad.

there's a pause. ]

You'll figure it out. You're all smart and determined.

[shaft]

We do have some particularly clever apples.

[ He's still holding her hand, silent for a moment. ]

And uh. Even though I have faith in us. I wanted to make sure that I thank you. For being my friend.

[departea]

... of course. Even if you did try to be casual at first.

[ claude trying to keep his distance. ]

Thank you for being with me.

[shaft]

I just wanted to look cool.

[ He smiles softly. ]

But you accept and love others too fiercely for me to keep that up.

[departea]

You're such a dork.

[ there's a pause, and she'll squeeze his hand before she continues to speak. ]

You should probably know that I've had the most massive crush on you for weeks. I assumed it was very obvious. [ i don't think i was very subtle? ] But... um. You don't have to say anything back, since I would prefer to not get rejected right now so just nod your head in understanding.

I just want to say it! It feels good to get these things off your chest! So, thank you for even letting me experience the moments that made me feel this way.

[shaft]

[ He's not clueless enough that he hadn't noticed, but he still colours a little at the admission. Maybe his palm becomes a little sweaty in hers. Awkward...

He just nods, like she requested, but hesitates for a second before his free hand moves to her jaw, hovering carefully over the skin. She's probably still cold to the touch, but it's not disconcerting after so many weeks, and it doesn't really stop him from leaning over to press his mouth to hers.

It lasts a little longer than his polite. ]
