Good day. They say that idle hands are the devil's playthings, don't they? So if you'd be kind enough to entertain me, please gather at the "Bakery" at dusk.

No one is in the halls as the two of them creep to the "Bakery".

Before they knock, the door will open before their knuckles so much as touch against the surface of the door. The room is filled with the comforting and warm aroma of assorted baked goods, along with the occasional stray scent of something that doesn't belong - is that hot sauce? A table has been set off to the side, topped off with an elegant tablecloth and a vase full of fresh flowers that certainly aren't there during business hours. The table is set for teatime with a kettle full of perfectly steeped tea, dainty containers of sugar and milk, and a small tower of delectable finger sandwiches.

In addition, there appears to be a few items handwritten on fine stationary in curling calligraphy, though it appears a bit shaky in sections. For your use, there also appears to be a pen, a highlighter, and a small pad of sticky notes.

» Members of the Honor Society have the following responsibilities: conduct searches for killers, assist others in completing their Extra Credit Assignments, and encouraging the exchange of vouchers for goods and services on campus.

» Each week, the Honor Society must agree upon one person to conduct a search on. They will be able to know if this person has killed, if they possess an additional role, and receive a list of every person they have conversed with over the past week.

» Members of the Honor Society will be expected to report upon their progress of assisting others with Extra Credit. If Members of the Honor Society have successfully assisted others, they will be able to receive one voucher themselves as well as additional information gleaned by the Society Director.

» Of course, the greatest organizations are meant to grow and evolve. Some weeks, you will be able to select provide a list of three to four additional candidates of who you would like to invite to join the Honor Society. Viola will approve one person's membership, limitations and growth pending.

» Outside of the Honor Society, you may not express your membership to anyone. Each week, one person outside of the Honor Society may be made aware of its existence and its membership. You must all agree on this person before telling them. However should that number be broken, grave consequences will follow.

... I think it can. Especially if you get creative. While there are restrictions that Dorm Heads have to work with, you can perhaps gather enough Vouchers to get more useful things.

I've been studying magic an awful lot lately after hearing everyone explain it - it still doesn't truly manage to resonate with me... but it opens a lot of doors for possibility.

We can brainstorm together at some point, if you'd like.

I don't know that much about magic or anything like that, either. The things that happen in my world are... pretty specific to it, though. So I've been trying to explain it using terms people might get. I'm not really used to it.

[ yamato has no powers, but also, the magic of friendship or whatever? it's complicated. he shrugs ]

I wouldn't mind some help coming up with what could be useful for everyone, though. [ a beat ] ... And if it's cheap enough, maybe I'll get my bass.

[dormheads]

Ah, it seems like we both have much to learn. [kindred spirits] But that's alright - the sky's the limit with Vouchers, for the most part, as long as you're willing to compromise and haggle a little in some cases. So we can do our best to figure out things that can help.

Your bass - oh, the instrument? I hope that you do! I give full discounts for sentimental items, so please let me know if you're interested.

I don't understand how you can not know about magic and use vouchers to summon any kind of item or power at all. Are those new to the school system?

[ and he blinks at that, since-- ]

I wouldn't call it sentimental. I just want to be able to practice if I'm going to be here so long.

[dormheads]

That's correct - it's a new facet of Dorm Wars.

Oh... but music is important to you, isn't it? Is that not sentimental?

[ghoststrums]

Are you new to being a Dorm Head, too?

[ he. tilts his head in thought ]

Yeah, kind of. But when I think of sentimental music, it's... I've already got that one with me.

[dormheads]

I am. It's my first year.

With you... Oh - your harmonica?

[ghoststrums]

Is it all your first years as Dorm Heads?

[ tired. exhausted. but; ]

Yeah. I've had it pretty much my entire life.

[dormheads]

That's correct! We met just a little bit before you all arrived.

Oh, I see. Was it given to you? Or did you pick it out yourself?

[ghoststrums]

I see.

[ suspicious... ]

Well. I was like, two, so it was probably given to me. I don't really remember by who, though. I just know I had it when my brother was born. I ... wasn't very good at it then.

[dormheads]

Oh, so you've really had it most of your life. I'm going to presume you're much better now, of course.

[ghoststrums]

... I can't really answer that without it sounding like a brag now, you know. [ please? viola? ] But yeah, I'd say so.

[dormheads]

[she giggles a little bit at that]

Then brag! If you've worked hard at something, then I think you deserve to own it.

[ghoststrums]

Then yeah, I'm good. I'll play you something sometime, if you want.

[ he'd offer now but this skirt has no pockets. ]

Then let's make it next week? I'd want to applaud for you properly! The mascot costume makes things a bit awkward...

It's not really an applause kind of thing, but... sure. I'll bring it with me next week. [ why not? speaking of bringing because i keep forgetting but; ] You're taking care of Tomoe's dog, then?

[dormheads]

That's correct - Bloody Mary has been staying with me for the past few days.

She's very cute, isn't she?

[ghoststrums]

[ he nods a little, moving to pet the dog. i assume she lets him so you don't have to rp the dog ]

Yeah. I'm glad she's okay. I was wondering. [ he loves... dogs... so much... ]

[dormheads]

[thanks for sparing me]

Mm... It's - saddening to say the least, to be without the one you care for deeply. But at least we can try to give her some love and treats, too.

[ghoststrums]

... Yeah.

[ sad about dog hours...

anyway, i'm already here and he has questions about it so moving on. while he pets dog ]

We can see if someone has additional activities-- [ obviously! they got a hit! ] but not what they are. But none of those should be in conflict with ours, right?

[dormheads]

In conflict...? In what way?

[though she'll also say - ]

Congratulations, by the way. You're both already doing very well.

[ghoststrums]

I don't know. Just trying to make sure there's no way it could backfire for us to tell Yanagiya-san what we know.

[ and he. shrugs at the compliment? ]

I think the teacup deserves the credit, when we picked a name out of it. [ he is kind of pleased though... ]

[dormheads]

Hmm... [viola seems thoughtful at this] I don't know the extent of what other assignments have been given out, or what restrictions those persons may have. You can collaborate, but I would still suggest being careful and taking a pulse of the conversation as you go through it with her. However I should also admit that I am a rather cautious person.

Still, neither of you are doing anything malicious - aside from a slight breach in privacy. So you may come to your own conclusions.

[but she seems amused]

Oh, did the teacup generate those names on its own? Hehe, I think that good fortune and good instincts fit well together.

[ghoststrums]

I know we can only tell someone once per week, but is it possible to have it be even more restricted...? [ that sounds like a pain. ] I don't think Yanagiya-san would be doing anything malicious, either.

[ i wish yamato didn't get attached to people in 0.5 seconds. anyway, he looks a little bashful; ]

I don't know about any of that, but I'm glad it worked out.

I'm sorry, I don't have any more guidance about that than you do. I don't think she'd do anything malicious either but... hmm, well, just be careful. It's still a rather unknown situation at the moment. I'd tell you the same thing about anyone - though I do think you're right that she seems quite kind.

I am too - let's continue to hope for good fortune in future attempts.
