The common room of the Fall Dorm has soft, dimmer lighting; plush carpet over wood; and several comfortable chairs and sectionals. A few big windows overlook the dormitory area of campus, but there is also a single, cozy bay window on one side.

A television and bluetooth surround-sound are here for Fall students who are more inclined to be tech savvy. In the cabinets under the entertainment stand are an assortment of board games, but the television does have a generic "free tv" app for shows and music.

Above the enormous center fireplace is a moody painting.

On one of the tables is a welcome basket.

specialty room.

Through a door on the first floor, there is an antigravity room. Stepping just a few feet through the doorway will lift everyone up into the air. The seating and most of the rest of the room remains somehow rightfully in place on the floor and will not move. Students, however, can grab pillows and blankets, cups or bowls, or other small items to bring into the air with them.

I run a hotel for ghosts. Specifically, ghosts who wander, or need help moving on to their afterlife. A good amount of them usually wander at first because they don't know they're dead. [she shrugs] I figured that all of this might be that, so that's why I asked earlier if any of you are dead.

[ lux gives a smile! she was raised to be polite, after all. but then it just... falls... at that job description. ]

I'm afraid I find that... Very difficult to believe.

That's fine. I would find it strange if you did believe me. Aren't ghosts and the afterlife touchy subjects for humans? You all believe different things, and sometimes you don't believe at all.

Mm. I don't suppose you go by The Veiled Lady?

That's not the name I go by now, no. Is this Veiled Lady responsible for the afterlife?

That's right. She is our guide in death.

Does she pass judgement too? Or does that responsibility fall to another?

It falls to her, and others.
