alright, parfaits are kind of. cutesy? he's not great at cutesy. he has never been great at cutesy. it has to be good, though, cause it's iris, so he starts measuring out yogurt to make sure it's at least decently even, and then adding things! mixed berries. small chunks of pound cake, like a crepe from ikebukuro. more yogurt - oh, chocolate, of course, it's gotta have chocolate!! he is taking this very seriously but it's losing a little bit of its aesthetically made layers as time ticks down rapidly. rip. ]
[they're off!! she rushes to also make her parfait immediately, cracking her knuckles beforehand before getting to work. in comparison, this is a deeply unfair competition because she's entirely in her element. design work, crafting flavors and recipes together, and trying to be thoughtful about it all? it's a little unfair.
but she'll alternate the layers of yogurt, oats, slicing up some strawberries in the shape of hearts, tossing in some kiwis, a few more raspberries here and there, and then she'll dip a fork into some melted chocolate, applying gentle pressure with her finger so that she can flick some dots of chocolate all over the parfait
and because this is an unfair competition, she aims the fork up a bit more across the table at him to flick some chocolate splatter at him. food fight ♥
