A not-hot-dog wrap it is. [ordering food is an easy enough task, so a wrap and a sandwich it is.] I know we're all from different worlds and stuff but the amount of people that couldn't decide what a sandwich is also a little alarming.

[departea]

I feel like everyone learned a lot about each other from that.

Should I expect that thing to be just as "exciting"? [he nods his head toward a poster for the winter formal, but he's grabbing their food and gesturing for her to pick a table for them.]

Oh! I hope so. Parties are always nice, I think.

You should ask someone to be your date.

[goalsides]

That's probably not gonna happen. [thank you very much.]

But you're right. Parties are nice and could be good for everybody right now. Does the school do a lot of this kind of stuff?

[having a seat. handing her a wrap. this is a very normal lunch.]

Yup! A lot of the other events are like, thing specific to grade levels or departments and things, but this one is open to everyone.

[ she takes her wrap and settles down. ]

So I hope people decide to go. It's good to be normal.

[goalsides]

At this point I don't know if there's an excuse not to go, you know? Everybody needs to take a break after everything that's happened lately. And if people don't want to go, there's probably plenty of us who'll make sure they have a good time anyway.

[there's a bite of his sandwich as he thinks on that.]

Good to be normal is a good way to look at it. Even if it's just for a day, I think it's one of the things I want for people here.

Everyone deserves a good laugh! Plus, I want to see if anyone would actually ask anyone to be their date... even if it's not romantic, it's a cute thought.

I see that you've all been busy in your dorms though. Pranks?

I think people are still trying to get to know each other. [taichi is not paying attention to anyone's romantic inklings, but...] Also? Everybody was biting everybody else last week and may never want to look people in the eye ever again.

You could ask someone yourself though.

I've been trying to figure out how a prank war even started when Claude was only borrowing the couch.

[...but he's looking at his sandwich because actually, wow, he is maybe realizing he is the one who actually started this prank war by letting the entirety of fall dorm into spring dorm.]

Oh, definitely not. I shall be there to clean up any messes and to document anything embarrassing people may do.

Then I'll probably stay on my best behavior. [please never document him doing anything stupid.]

From the sound of it that's how it went. I lost track a little. [...] At least so far people seem to be leaving your dorm out of it.

Between you and me, I wouldn't really mind if they got involved somehow. Even if it wasn't some of the meaner stuff. It would give them something to do, you know?

I think people aren't sure how to treat them right now because it's a sad thing. I want to do something nice for them but I don't know what.

[hm... ]

...how are you after all of this anyway? It's your dorm, too.

Oh, I'm just keeping busy! Always looking for things to do.

[ she looks down at the wrap. ]

If Winter Formal's soon, maybe you could help them get ready for it? Sagihara said you're the one who mentioned it to him when I talked to him yesterday.

Yeah! He was curious about what people wore to those kinds of things. He didn't think he'd like suits.

[goalsides]

Considering he's the way he is right now, that doesn't surprise me. [...]

Have you spoken to him before? He's been really into school spirit lately, but that's not the norm. [what is happening to people.]

[departea]

I spoke to him before, yeah. We were mostly concerned about the corn suit...

But is that so? He's not just interested in learning?

[goalsides]

Not having arms is a very concerning issue, you're right. It's not that he's not interested in learning, except it's probably that, too. It's that he's never been to a school and he doesn't even like it usually.

I know we're all still getting to know each other, but some people have been acting kind of weird lately for no real reason.

[departea]

Can you explain how?

It's not that I don't believe you, but I don't see everyone as much as you do.

[goalsides]

No I know. I figured. [it's been long enough he is noticing the dorm heads do not perceive.]

It's like...last week Catra was really into school and school activities, like the debate. She's never been to school either so it was kind of weird? I didn't even notice but she told everybody on Saturday. And now it's Sakyou. During the debate, too, Mandricardo's whole personality was different. He was way more intense than usual.

It's little stuff like that.

[ she sets the wrap down. ]

I didn't talk to Catra last week before trial. And maybe he was just really into the debate? You were all very uh. Into it.

[goalsides]

[unfortunately that flusters him a little and he chokes on his sandwich a bit.]

It's not like the topics helped. I still don't even get what global warming is. [but he shakes his head.] I don't know if that was it though. Especially since he apologized for it later.

I know it all seems normal but...I just wanted to hear how you guys perceive this kind of stuff. Especially with those papers that showed up.

I'm not really supposed to talk about it. No one bought mine.
