it's weird to me that you've never run into it before
with people being from other worlds and all

well there's no "magic" here
and normally students dont go around yelling about how their magic was taken from then and that they were kidnapped
so even if, in theory, there has been people here with magic before they just kept it to themselves since why would you just walk up to a stranger and start chatting about wizardry to them?

sounds like everybody else actually sent in an application
for whatever reason nobody who ended up in these dorms did
it's weird for all of us

also why not talk about magic if it's part of your life?
unless you were trying to stay in hiding or something

this place gets so many applicants so why would it just take ppl who never applied in the first place
its like a waste

i mean that you all started yelling about magic right away
there are a lot of things important in my life that i dont begin a conversation with

its possible to lose my kind of magic
so its alarming if its gone for no reason i can come up with

well normally students dont have access to those records
like once you submit an application you dont normally get to see the application again unless you saved it yourself

this is just how schools are
if you do a standardized test like the ones they make you do for uni
you dont get the tests back
at most we can probably try to get your transcripts but that wouldnt have all the information that youre all looking for

what's a transcript and what are they for?

[dormheads]

transcripts are just records of classes you took that pertain to what you need to graduate
schools usually need you to hit certain requirements of specific types of classes and you pick ones that fall under those types to get credits
so a transcript just lists what you have already done and what your grade in that class was
