FALL COMMON ROOM - WEEK 1

common room.
The common room of the Fall Dorm has soft, dimmer lighting; plush carpet over wood; and several comfortable chairs and sectionals. A few big windows overlook the dormitory area of campus, but there is also a single, cozy bay window on one side.
A television and bluetooth surround-sound are here for Fall students who are more inclined to be tech savvy. In the cabinets under the entertainment stand are an assortment of board games, but the television does have a generic "free tv" app for shows and music.
Above the enormous center fireplace is a moody painting.
This week, there's something else.
specialty room.
Through a door on the first floor, there is an antigravity room. Stepping just a few feet through the doorway will lift everyone up into the air. The seating and most of the rest of the room remains somehow rightfully in place on the floor and will not move. Students, however, can grab pillows and blankets, cups or bowls, or other small items to bring into the air with them.
Please use this as an open post for members of Fall Dorm. You may post top-levels whenever you'd like and go wild. A new post will go up at the start of each week.
A Thing
Anyway, yamato looks serious! yes despite everything else. ]
About the extra credit assignments, I've learned a few things I think you should all know. First, doing them might help all of us out in the long run. The better a dorm "does" in this school, which includes things like extra credit, the more the dorm heads can have access to things like information for us, and other stuff. That's why, if you need assistance doing any of them, I'm willing to help.
Also-- you can share what your extra credit task is with one or two other people maximum privately, but depending on the task it might not count if they learn about it beforehand. Like... having to lie to someone wouldn't work if you warn them, but something that would be impossible without working with someone else is fine. It's a case by case basis, so be careful of the wording.
[ aka ask the mods if you're unsure in a dm. ]
That's all.

... I see. With that in mind, I hope everyone here will feel safe in coming to me for assistance with extra credit. Or one another.
Ah. And - as long as we're sharing information... This is somewhat off-topic, but I believe that accurate 'votes' in the trial will earn us more vouchers. So that is something to keep in mind.

They could try to pretend this trial thing won't happen again a little harder.

[ not that she thinks it won't happen again, but still. the clarity is probably good. ]

Was all of this—[ gestures to the skirt, actually, now that it's relevant ]—related to your extra credit assignments?

That's good to know. I'll offer my help in exchange too, if anyone still needs to complete theirs. [she pauses] But if you're going to borrow my clothes, then you have to return them just as they were. And don't launder them.
[that's for LUX and LALLI,]
no subject
... That's probably a good rule, yes.
[ their laundry machines.......... ]

Speaking of extra credit... Have you done any of the tasks yet, Yamato?

Let's do it together then. [hm, all of these answers are probably traumatizing,
she thinks for a moment, then]
I can give you the power to see ghosts right now.
