FALL COMMON ROOM - WEEK 1

The common room of the Fall Dorm has soft, dimmer lighting; plush carpet over wood; and several comfortable chairs and sectionals. A few big windows overlook the dormitory area of campus, but there is also a single, cozy bay window on one side.

A television and bluetooth surround-sound are here for Fall students who are more inclined to be tech savvy. In the cabinets under the entertainment stand are an assortment of board games, but the television does have a generic "free tv" app for shows and music.

Above the enormous center fireplace is a moody painting.

This week, there's something else.

specialty room.

Through a door on the first floor, there is an antigravity room. Stepping just a few feet through the doorway will lift everyone up into the air. The seating and most of the rest of the room remains somehow rightfully in place on the floor and will not move. Students, however, can grab pillows and blankets, cups or bowls, or other small items to bring into the air with them.

[ those things are indestructible it's fine?

luke is being very nice, really. it's too bad all it does is make yamato kinda thump the back of his head against the wall lightly. ]

... I know. Thanks. [ he is trying for grateful. really! it just falls a little flat ] Don't worry about me.

[dormheads]

[this is fine.]

You worry about everyone else, so you're the one I have to worry about the most.

[ghoststrums]

[ well. that makes him ?? ]

Huh? Me? But... [ he doesn't want that but also he's kinda touched??? ]

[dormheads]

Yeah. You. The people who spend all their time looking out for everyone else usually forget to take care of themselves.

But that's what friends are for.

[ghoststrums]

[ he wants to argue he isn't like that, but luke hits him in the friendship weakness? that's cheating. ]

... Mm. That's true. [ it's a little more genuine this time when he repeats, smiling a little: ] Thanks, Luke.

[dormheads]

No problem. I'll leave you alone with the sappy speeches.

But if you're feeling up to it, come play a few games with everyone else. Okay?

Yeah. ... Alright. I can probably handle a few rounds of truth or dare.
