FALL COMMON ROOM - WEEK 1

The common room of the Fall Dorm has soft, dimmer lighting; plush carpet over wood; and several comfortable chairs and sectionals. A few big windows overlook the dormitory area of campus, but there is also a single, cozy bay window on one side.

A television and bluetooth surround-sound are here for Fall students who are more inclined to be tech savvy. In the cabinets under the entertainment stand are an assortment of board games, but the television does have a generic "free tv" app for shows and music.

Above the enormous center fireplace is a moody painting.

This week, there's something else.

specialty room.

Through a door on the first floor, there is an antigravity room. Stepping just a few feet through the doorway will lift everyone up into the air. The seating and most of the rest of the room remains somehow rightfully in place on the floor and will not move. Students, however, can grab pillows and blankets, cups or bowls, or other small items to bring into the air with them.

No, it lasts one second before he goes way too over and ends up falling flat on his back. The noise is heavy and tremendous. ]

[ God I wish I could see it my work bans dreamwidth icon images so I've literally been trekking blind ever since this game started I'm crying. ]

I have no idea how old you are. [ He's got a poor scale of figuring out how old anyone here is and he doesn't read profiles. ]

She's strong and fast and really good at cooking gyoza! ...And she's my best friend, no matter what.

[ it's fine he keeps reading caiman's and going "are you sure?", so. ]

She sounds great. Were you guys together before you wound up here?

[ 25 is entirely a self-claimed number so you're correct to doubt him. ]

Oh, so, fourteen! Small.

Yeah! We were going through something pretty complicated and got separated for a while, but we met back up again... [ Though... sad. ] But now we're separated again, I guess.

[ghoststrums]

[ he nods at the small comment because takeru is babby, but at that, he's very serious and sincere when he responds: ]

You'll meet each other again soon.

[headsplitter]

You really think so?

[ Truth or dare has turned into a mini heart-to-heart. ]

'Cause of the whole thing about being stuck here for an entire year and all...

[ghoststrums]

They also said time doesn't pass back home, so she'll be right where you left her. [ even if he doesn't know if he entirely believes that he will absolutely? heart to heart hopeful talk caiman ] We'll find our way home and be back with the people we care about before you know it.

[headsplitter]

[ Caiman blinks up at him... quietly. Listening, and considering this...

And then he smiles. Well, as much as his lizard face will let him, which is surprisingly decently. But it's strange -- it's oddly subtle and not a brazen grin like the usual, something subdued and something that feels a bit different somehow. ]

he decides to not analyze this lizard for tonight it's too much on a thursday ]

[ It's fine don't worry about it! Hilariously so because right after that he'ss going to get right back up from the floor, all energized all over again. ]

Alright! We're gonna make the rest of this night fun until we pass out and we'll stick together 'cause we've got each other's backs!

[ well. honestly. it kind of works in cheering the mood a little, apparently, i hate that friendship works on yamato like this
