FALL COMMON ROOM - WEEK 1

The common room of the Fall Dorm has soft, dimmer lighting; plush carpet over wood; and several comfortable chairs and sectionals. A few big windows overlook the dormitory area of campus, but there is also a single, cozy bay window on one side.

A television and bluetooth surround-sound are here for Fall students who are more inclined to be tech savvy. In the cabinets under the entertainment stand are an assortment of board games, but the television does have a generic "free tv" app for shows and music.

Above the enormous center fireplace is a moody painting.

This week, there's something else.

specialty room.

Through a door on the first floor, there is an antigravity room. Stepping just a few feet through the doorway will lift everyone up into the air. The seating and most of the rest of the room remains somehow rightfully in place on the floor and will not move. Students, however, can grab pillows and blankets, cups or bowls, or other small items to bring into the air with them.

[ for the most part let's not get into the humanoid ones. yamato's isn't so he wins. ]

I see... So you were traveling in a realm of monsters.

And traveling with them as well.

Yeah. We each had our partners. They came back with us when we went home the first time, since we had to fight off an attack there.

Protecting two worlds sounds like a very difficult task...

... It is. But we do it.

[ it's meant casual but comes off maybe a little tired ]

It does make one's failure to protect a single kingdom much more striking.

[ yes, but she regrets mentioning it since this is supposed to be a fun game. ]

It doesn't matter. The important thing is that you've been doing something very impressive!

Yeah, but I've never had to do it on my own.

Friends you can trust are a wonderful thing to have.

[ actually this is a terrible subject for another reason because yamato's just clutching his digivice again and looking away because taichi sucks ]

I don't think anyone here would take offense if you wanted to switch dorms to be with your friend.

No. It's fine. Taichi... it's his decision. And he can take care of himself.

... Alright. If you're sure, then so am I.

I suppose it isn't as if friends need to share the same sleeping space anyway, when you're sure to see each other during the day.

[ i will be extremely distressed by this conversation if either of our digis are dead tomorrow, don't do this to me. ]
