In the common room, the walls have been painted with photo-like pictures of forests and lakes, and spread across the ceiling is a depiction of the night sky. One wall is lined with bookcases, the books ranging from fiction to non-fiction as well used course textbooks. More bookcases have been used to section off one corner for a study area, with a desk and chair provided.

Elsewhere, there are a few couches (one looks as though it doesn't quite belong) and chairs, most seated around a coffee table and with throw blankets tossed over them if you need the extra warmth. On the table is a bowl of healthy and semi-healthy snacks, regularly stocked. (Nearby is a garbage can.)

This week, there is something else on the table.

Past an entrance in the common room, a mini coffeehouse has been set up, with express machines for those who just want their coffee now and slightly more advanced equipment for aficionados. It offers a variety of strength levels and flavors to accommodate tastes all across the spectrum, along with a teapot and packets of caffeinated and non-caffeinated tea for those who prefer a different drink. There's a sink if you want to use your own mug, but otherwise, disposable cups are provided for you to use.

Pasted on the wall by the coffee machines is a detailed but clear handwritten guide on how to use said machines, complete with illustrations. There are also cute little doodles of Spring Dorm residents using the machines and drinking coffee, though they look as though they were done by someone else.

It's getting colder, so don't dress too lightly.

There are also knitting and crocheting supplies and yarn on the table, with a how-to book. The supplies cannot leave the dorm.

Along with that, there are strings of fairy lights for people to decorate with as they please, though these also cannot leave the dorm.]

[On Monday morning, everyone will wake up to find a piece of paper slipped into their lockers, with a printed message:

THE MOON IS A GIANT GOOSE EGG.

Later in the day, fairy lights have been added to the bedrooms and around the entrance to the third floor, in addition to the ones already present in the common areas.]

What does this mean exactly ... ?

But also of note, he's sitting on the newly cleaned non-matching couch, holding a familiar friend to some of you. He's just chilling on the couch next to Molly. Be nice to Frumpkin, treasured Guest.]

Common Room: Monday

[Perhaps sometime in the evening, when hopefully everyone is present, Sieghart pipes up from the couch:]

Taichi told me something interesting this morning.

There's a script about a cancelled TV show by the name of Wiwaldi Academy: Four Seasons of Drama. It's a story of competition and lies in an academy on the outskirts of the City, starring our Dorm Heads. The acceptance letter we received is part of it, and one section mentions a Gossip Squirrel and the geese.

There's more, but that's the gist of what I was told. What do you think?

Ugh. I'd wondered if all this nonsense was for somebody's entertainment... Guess that answers that.

Hold on. It's a story of competition? Does that include murder?

Shinonome sent me a message just a while ago saying the same thing. He said the roles in the script are what they're using to control us, though I'm not sure if that's just his theory or confirmed, but it makes sense with the rest of it, I think.

UPDATE

[Around mid-morning Thursday, the coffee table in the common room will now have two big scuff marks on it, though they might be missed what with the big splatter of ice across the top of it. The ice fades after about an hour.]

CURFEW

Molly is just sitting on the couch in the common room, arms crossed, big ol' bruise across the front of his nose and scrowling like hell that he's stuck in this fucking dorm. Vibes are fuckin' bad, fam.

[ Claude is going to sit next to Molly, and rest his head on the back of the couch and stare at the ceiling.

[Wow it's depressing in this dorm. Depressed and irate people probably shouldn't be given alcohol either, but Sakyou is returning the favor, quietly approaching the couch with a mug of Not Coffee and reaching out to gently and briefly place his free hand on Molly's shoulder.]

[rita's just looking mildly uncomfortable at all this hurt/comfort going on here. ugh!! disgusting.]

It's depressing in here. I'm going to my room.

[she stands up and makes for the stairs.]

[SO HOW ABOUT THAT everything that just happened here wow. Wow!! How about Rita wholeass telling them not to die and SIEGHART GOES AND FUCKING DIES... Anyway, Sakyou's checking his phone as soon as the report cards get blasted out and BOY is he looking furious. Y'know just so we can have an equal mix of Big Sad and Big Mad in this cursed dorm.

That's it that's the toplevel go crazy smash some furniture kick an effigy of Sieghart's demon racist corpse or use his sword as a conduit to curse his eternal soul perhaps. Sakyou himself will just be quietly seething in the specialty room.]
