FALL COMMON ROOM - WEEK 2

The common room of the Fall Dorm has soft, dimmer lighting; plush carpet over wood; and several comfortable chairs and sectionals. A few big windows overlook the dormitory area of campus, but there is also a single, cozy bay window on one side.

A television and bluetooth surround-sound are here for Fall students who are more inclined to be tech savvy. In the cabinets under the entertainment stand are an assortment of board games, but the television does have a generic "free tv" app for shows and music.

Above the enormous center fireplace is a moody painting.

This week, there's something else.

specialty room.

Through a door on the first floor, there is an antigravity room. Stepping just a few feet through the doorway will lift everyone up into the air. The seating and most of the rest of the room remains somehow rightfully in place on the floor and will not move. Students, however, can grab pillows and blankets, cups or bowls, or other small items to bring into the air with them.

[Occasionally, Luke can be found in the common room. It seems he's mostly checking on the tree rather than lazing about.

He can also be found going up or down stairs from his room on the third floor.]

[He has heard of Christmas trees and the concept of the thing, but also he looks at it with some confusion while Luke's checking it.

Anyway, something else he wanted to ask about.]

How much for my jacket back?

[He has to make sure Caiman hasn't toppled it over.]

Depends. Is it a "magic" jacket?

It's a jacket. Quilted, warm, protects ya from the elements.

Not everythin' is magic.

[t-minus 3 days before it topples somehow. also shut up? he's kind of glancing at luke's arms like he's comparing them to his.]

[He glances over at Taichi,

and then his eyes drop down to Taichi's arms.]

The tree?

[ literally from somewhere else in the dorm: ]

[i hope he's going down the stairs because Manwol's at the bottom blocking his way. She still looks like a Mess, but it's fine. She has bandages on. She's radiating the same vibes as usual, it's fine.]

You should help me do a task. Let's go.

[Well, he is now. He stops on the steps not directly above where she is, but one more, so there's a step between them. DON'T ACT LIKE NOTHING HAPPENED THIS PREVIOUS WEEKEND, MANWOL.]

[He sounds exasperated.]

Manwol immediately looks pleased, hm. choices..... ]

Can we go upstairs? I want to see your room.

He sort of... glances over his shoulder up the stairs a second. When he looks back, it doesn't look like he's unsure because he's hiding something in his room. He looks unsure because she's a girl. Asking to go into his room.]

TUESDAY

[On Tuesday, Luke can be seen wandering around campus with this nestled in his hair.

He also has a vertical bag of wax paper full of something...?]

[Let Lalli get dunked on by all the pranks.

By which I mean he's going right up to Luke to find out what's going on.]

[He glances at Lalli, and then down at the bag (since he can't look at the flowers.)]

Mhmm. And the flowers too.

Where'd the flowers come from?

I don't know. They were in my locker.
