FALL COMMON ROOM - WEEK 3

common room.
The common room of the Fall Dorm has soft, dimmer lighting; plush carpet over wood; and several comfortable chairs and sectionals. A few big windows overlook the dormitory area of campus, but there is also a single, cozy bay window on one side.
A television and bluetooth surround-sound are here for Fall students who are more inclined to be tech savvy. In the cabinets under the entertainment stand are an assortment of board games, but the television does have a generic "free tv" app for shows and music.
Above the enormous center fireplace is a moody painting.
This week, there's something else.
specialty room.
Through a door on the first floor, there is an antigravity room. Stepping just a few feet through the doorway will lift everyone up into the air. The seating and most of the rest of the room remains somehow rightfully in place on the floor and will not move. Students, however, can grab pillows and blankets, cups or bowls, or other small items to bring into the air with them.
Please use this as an open post for members of Fall Dorm. You may post top-levels whenever you'd like and go wild. A new post will go up at the start of each week.
tuesday probably after anime night
Someone used their mind-altering coupon on Viola to try and 'restore her original memories' and she managed to regain herself for about twenty seconds. I was thinking of doing the same for Luke, but I don't know if I should ask for the same thing or phrase it a different way. Any suggestions?
[yeah that's all]

[ or if they should just shoot for those twenty seconds. ]

Wording is important, especially in regards to memory. "Restore" would be like returning it to its factory settings but if the magic of this place is blocking that route, then you'd need a different set of keywords to circumvent it.
no subject
That makes sense. All the more reason to try and think of some other word we can use.
[she looks expectantly at futaba im in tears]
no subject
Yeah! Perhaps more along the lines of "Before" or... oh! "The memories belonging to the Actor playing Luke?"

You mean like a restorative?

...how exactly was it phrased the first time? Do we know?

I agree we should try to figure out if they can tell us how long they've been here or why they were taken, how, whatever. [there's a frown as he thinks though.] ...I wonder if they know anything about the message that was on the marquee. Something about the bear's keys or whatever.

There's also that note that got slipped into everyone's lockers earlier today, about how you can give control back to the Dorm Heads by redeeming vouchers through them. I gave Luke nine just the other day, so...
no subject
Nine?
[She looks at both his shirt and his crutch. Hope???]
I hope you used those to heal yourself.

Hmm... I wonder if we can find a way to extend the effect past twenty seconds.
no subject
Twenty seconds for a coupon that should last for two days... I can't tell if it's because of the coupon, or because of whatever power this place has over us.

I wonder if. . . I still have my healing item. We may need it this coming Thursday so I thought to hang onto that, but a fog on memories would fall within the parameters of healing, I should think. Or if not, a restorative potion?

Sit down, Luke.
[do it]
no subject
Look, he's STUPID, but he isn't FUCKING stupid. He looks highly suspicious now that he's being told to sit down. He will... stand in front of the couch!]
