SUMMER COMMON ROOM - WEEK 3

The common room is as bright and open as the rest of the dorm. Beanbag chairs and even more hammocks are situated around for any of your resting needs, because who needs couches? There are a few blankets on the couch just for comfort, but the temperature is never cold enough to need them because of chill. There's also an absurd amount of pillows.

The walls are decorated with paintings that are either modern art pieces or done by kindergarteners. There are also photographs tacked onto the walls as well, of seemingly random things like a vase of flowers, a mailbox, a bird on a tree branch. The photos are less about grand views and feels more like someone testing out a camera.

On a table is a welcome basket.

In the common room, there's a door that leads to what can only be described as an Occult Room for some strange reason. Unlike the rest of the dorm, this room is dimly lit and is crowded with items—a skeleton that may or may not be real, taxidermy animals, really creepy looking dolls, an actual coffin, etc. On a table to the side is a Ouija board, a few tarot decks, and crystal ball.

It is, yes. It seems they get new documents every Sunday that can be purchased for three vouchers, and they also seem to be connected.

[ She holds up the papers. They're blank, to his gaze. ]

From what I've been able to tell, only the one who purchases it can read the contents. I can summarize?

... How inconvenient. If you may, I would be most obliged.

[momming]

[ She nods. ]

It has pictures of the Dorm Heads, and a casting list of them with their "actors"... Sally, for example, is played by someone named Annie, Chad is Hugo, Luke is Riku and Viola is Iris. The professors and the judges during those competitions on Wednesday also have actors. There's a section for the students in the dorms as well, but they're just numbered all of the actor spots have been left blank. So we're more like... extras?

... Ah.

I can hardly be surprised. I thought it strange that Sally believed us to be willing students of this school when first we spoke—she found it peculiar that we would claim otherwise. It never settled right with me that she has thus far acted as if naught were amiss, that she was simply another student here, as well.
