SUMMER COMMON ROOM - WEEK 3

The common room is as bright and open as the rest of the dorm. Beanbag chairs and even more hammocks are situated around for any of your resting needs, because who needs couches? There are a few blankets on the couch just for comfort, but the temperature is never cold enough to need them because of chill. There's also an absurd amount of pillows.

The walls are decorated with paintings that are either modern art pieces or done by kindergarteners. There are also photographs tacked onto the walls as well, of seemingly random things like a vase of flowers, a mailbox, a bird on a tree branch. The photos are less about grand views and feels more like someone testing out a camera.

On a table is a welcome basket.

In the common room, there's a door that leads to what can only be described as an Occult Room for some strange reason. Unlike the rest of the dorm, this room is dimly lit and is crowded with items—a skeleton that may or may not be real, taxidermy animals, really creepy looking dolls, an actual coffin, etc. On a table to the side is a Ouija board, a few tarot decks, and crystal ball.

[ There's a large, brightly decorated Christmas tree tucked in a corner of the room. All of the decorations on it seem to be handmade, and some of the ornaments have small, painted faces of the various members of the dorm. In the background, various Christmas songs play, going from the classics to hits by Ariana Grande. However, the radio it's playing on is easily locatable and anyone can switch the music off as long as they don't break the radio.

Under the tree are wrapped boxes! One for each member of Summer Dorm, and inside is a small, sentimental gift from home, the only caveat being that it can't be something magical or something usable in combat. Yay gifts!

As always, there's tea, but the treats that accompany it is a much larger selection this time! There's different types of cakes, cookies, donuts, and more. A handwritten note sits next to it all:

[ Yo 'sup. At some point during the day, Alphinaud will turn down the music and try to grab the attention of all who is currently present. ]

Good day, my friends—I hope the day is treating you well! I had hoped to briefly speak with you all about our standing in the dorm wars, and what we could do to benefit our dormitory. I confess even I had been skeptical when it came to playing along, but I have since then learned it should only aid us further were we to put all our efforts into it.

And so, I come to ask how we all fare on that front. I imagine we are all already working on the weekly tasks, yes? How oft do we speak with Sally, and what have we learned from her? If you have not been already, I implore you to spend your vouchers as oft as you are able, and be certain to do so with her.

Above all else, I also recommend completing your extra credit as many times as you are able. Should you ever need someone to help you with this, you are always more than welcome to come to me, no matter what it may be. 'Tis of great import that we get these done.

[ Mabel suddenly comes flying down from the rafters, or maybe a hammock that's positioned very high up in the room, idk, but she's jumping down at Alphinaud and landing with her legs on his shoulders in a piggyback position. She locks her legs around his neck for leverage and immediately begins wrestling his head with a pair of scissors in hand.

She is yelling like a banshee. ]

[Mandricardo is here! He's actually....in full armor? And he has a very fashionable hat. It's fine.]

Um. I...have a question. About extra credit...we can't tell anyone what that is, right...?

I actually do need help with my extra credit if you all don't mind. I haven't been able to organize it due to how hectic last week was, but I'll get it going tomorrow.

[ Anyway, to Alphinaud's points. ]

I talk to Sally usually once a week, though I can consider talking to her more... It's just. Been hard.

This reminds me: is everyone caught up on the happenings on campus? Such as information that has been spreading around, anything learned about the past cases and the like.

Actually, I wanted to talk to everyone about that. I was able to purchase something from Sally yesterday.

except her arm is totally fine now. it's functional. she's holding her tea mug with both hands and just vibing. that's the tag.]

I wanted to ask if any of you have gone to Sally about the cast list? Or have talked to her at all this week.

I was able to meet up with her the other day and received a memory as we were talking, which tells me… It’s likely to be true that the dorm heads are like us, but with implanted memories. It was similar to Luke as well when I had dinner with him. Their memories refer to them with different names and they’ll brush it off or say they don’t recognize it.

Catra told me that the dormheads have had a couple of breakthroughs, but she hasn’t heard about Sally, so I wanted to check with everyone first.

I haven't met with the dormitory leaders one on one this week, but I can corroborate your story. Others have said the same.

I talked with Sally earlier on Sunday. She...had a moment where she went weird, kind of lookin' confused and sayin' something like "wait, so this isn't a dream"? And then after a moment she went back to like nothing happened.

So...it happens. It has happened.

Since we're here, we can be productive and check what our injuries are like before we knock out... It will help with trial if we do a strip check if we can corroborate what we saw from tonight to match.

[Here's Mandricardo! He'll have to take off all this armor first, but when he does so, he'll unbutton his shirt and allow people to examine, though he's very shy about it. He does have a noticeably large scar around on the left side of his body, but its real old.]

[ He rolls up his sleeve, revealing his forearm. Just before his wrist, a newly formed scar wraps above his arm. ]

[ Nier is also here for checks from doctor and anyone else. He's comfortable with stripping to his boxers and people will find old battle scars scattered everywhere, the same large circular scar that's on his lower abdomen, then a matching scar on his back on the same level.

He has less mysterious bruises than he did last week! ]

well, a little bit after the execution, whoever is currently in the dorm will hear a loud sound from the third floor, like something just hit the ground. it's probably a little familiar, actually?

if anyone goes to check, they won't get too far before the door opens and sally stumbles out, looking kind of frantic but also excited. ]

Re: Daycare and Administration Building!

Lost my phone, sorry for any missed messages. Expelled and injured students signed into daycare and they are helping get keys to administration building. Good work so far. Need to [ squints ] go into? top floor to fix their...I think that says transcripts, so they can return to campus. Please keep...other? students occupied and happy as...something...of Wiwaldi Campus. Umm...I think this says...Outside visitors still not permitted in the areas? Construction may be done by end of school year.
