SUMMER COMMON ROOM - WEEK 5

The common room is as bright and open as the rest of the dorm. Beanbag chairs and even more hammocks are situated around for any of your resting needs, because who needs couches? There are a few blankets on the couch just for comfort, but the temperature is never cold enough to need them because of chill. There's also an absurd amount of pillows.

The walls are decorated with paintings that are either modern art pieces or done by kindergarteners. There are also photographs tacked onto the walls as well, of seemingly random things like a vase of flowers, a mailbox, a bird on a tree branch. The photos are less about grand views and feels more like someone testing out a camera.

On a table is a welcome basket.

In the common room, there's a door that leads to what can only be described as an Occult Room for some strange reason. Unlike the rest of the dorm, this room is dimly lit and is crowded with items—a skeleton that may or may not be real, taxidermy animals, really creepy looking dolls, an actual coffin, etc. On a table to the side is a Ouija board, a few tarot decks, and crystal ball.

[ The bright, sunny Monday morning... Claude can be found on one of the couches in the Summer dorm! He is passed out soundly, his dunce cap covering his eyes, one arm thrown over the back of the couch and one leg hanging off it.

Next to Claude, sleeping curled up on the floor, is a dog-sized wyvern (minus the gear). She's very happy to be dozing in the sunlight, and will snap her jaws at anyone who tries to bother her, unless she's already familiar with them.

What...what are you doin' here?

[ Blinks at his sleepily. ]

I live here now.

Can I ask why?

Do you not want me here?

No, it's just...this place is kind of a disaster? I mean, don't say that to Sally, but...

[momming]

... [ she crouches to investigate the wyvern ]

[shaft]

[ She will open one eye to look at Otome. She is very cozy. ]

[momming]

Hello, sweetheart. I can't say I expected new arrivals.

[shaft]

[ Otome has a nice voice, so she will raise her head sleepily at her. Hello. ]

[momming]

[ And she will smile softly in return. ]

Don't mind me, you can go back to sleep.

[amain]

[ Nier will come pet the wyvern. We will all ignore Claude in this house. ]

[shaft]

[ Incredible. Well, Claude is snoozing so he doesn't care. Wyvernchan is fine with being pet. Her scales are warm from the sun! ]

[ Baby girl, you are so perfect… Sure, summer has squirrels, but big warm is nice!!

For Claude, Nier hovers before taking the dunce cap to place it elsewhere. I hate that he won’t disturb him and will instead find a thin blanket to put over him.

He’ll ask questions when Claude wakes up. ]

[ Okay, we’re back. ]

Are you here for Sally?

Well... welcome.

[ she pats his shoulder. ]

There's plenty of beds, you know.

[ This... is an unexpected sight! ]

... We do have more than enough beds to spare, should you wish for a more comfortable resting spot.

Thanks! Are the single rooms open?

Oh, there's a good chance, I wager. The place is vacant enough as it is.

Ah, then I hope you don't mind me helping myself. I have weird sleeping habits, so it'd be less intrusive.
