FALL COMMON ROOM - WEEK 5

The common room of the Fall Dorm has soft, dimmer lighting; plush carpet over wood; and several comfortable chairs and sectionals. A few big windows overlook the dormitory area of campus, but there is also a single, cozy bay window on one side.

A television and bluetooth surround-sound are here for Fall students who are more inclined to be tech savvy. In the cabinets under the entertainment stand are an assortment of board games, but the television does have a generic "free tv" app for shows and music.

Above the enormous center fireplace is a moody painting.

This week, there's something else.

specialty room.

Through a door on the first floor, there is an antigravity room. Stepping just a few feet through the doorway will lift everyone up into the air. The seating and most of the rest of the room remains somehow rightfully in place on the floor and will not move. Students, however, can grab pillows and blankets, cups or bowls, or other small items to bring into the air with them.

[monday morning before anybody can go too far, taichi's going to call a dorm meeting! show up in the common room, or don't. also, he's maybe dressed a little differently with a certain shirt under the jacket. it's fine.]

Hey, so, I bought documents from Riku yesterday. We should probably talk about those? I think you guys remember when we talked about the cancelled pilot script. This time it was just one piece of paper. [he holds it up! it is blank to everybody else.]

Front side is the title page for the Wilwaldi: Four Seasons of Drama pilot script. It's got a lot of stuff written in red like some of the other documents we've heard about....mostly the ideas were a lot of like...asking if we wanted to stay, having a place to belong, and sort of threatening us that we'll want all of that.

...the back's black though and all it says is "Finish the story." Same red writing.

So...we might be in trouble. Figured everybody should know early so we can decide what to do next.

It's probably what Otome said at the trial.

[Which he is not going to repeat, no need for more heart attacks.]

We finish the story by dying.

[He says this with the emotional weight of someone who has reluctantly accepted that they have to clean up a mess someone else made.]

It can't be all of us though, can it? [like that sounds bad actually.] They can't take all of us out in the next couple of weeks.

A fire during a trial, when we're all locked in the gym, would kill us all.

[Just. Pointing that out.]

Are you planning on lighting us all on fire anytime soon, Lalli?

[bro we are trying to stay somewhat positive here.]

No. Death by fire is miserable.

[Don't ask him how he knows that.]

... And then, the dorm heads? What about them?

If death is the only escape, we can't leave them here.

We don't know for certain death is the only escape, though. Let's not jump the gun before we've gone through all other options, Lalli-san.

That doesn't make any sense, though, with what they've done so far and who they've picked as targets.

I don't know. Every week someone seems to get hit with a curse that makes them want to stay though. It would make sense if that's all connected.

Sagihara was the week after, Malik the week after that, and I suspect possibly Ichinose-san but she would have to confirm that herself.

Maybe, but how do we even know what exactly's being written in the first place?

Asking Riku for a script page? Just writing whatever we want as a special episode and hoping for the best?

I don't know if Riku has anything else. I've tried asking if we can buy other info besides these documents and nothing so far.

But if this is something to do with the dead getting to the administration office...I wonder if we're just buying time.
