[Between all of these fuckin people and their weird weapons and powers, the goblins decide to retreat, as much as Hisokablin wants to keep fighting. They gather as much trash in their arms as they can before fleeing into the ether.
... Mission accomplished, probably? Hopefully they won't cause any more trash problems, so you can likely leave the well now.
Fancy seeing you here ... ? We're doing normal things. Going down wells because crying maidens told us to and such.
[Wow did he just waste his power on this coward goblin? That's fine, whatever, it lasts until a long rest BUT STILL. He keeps it out though. Look, he's been warned about these ... adventures.]
I'm fairly certain I'm not a fake. Unless you're a fake. Sakyou, you're not a fake, right? I forgot to ask when we first got here.
[Said as he watches these coward goblins flee... FROWNING. But whatever, he'll just start brushing off some of the nasty goblin garbage that probably got on him while they were being pelted. Stinky.]
If we're all truly here though, I wonder why we started out separately instead of together? Has that happened yet...?
[Apparently they're going to have to go back through the hole, though... Or at least he looks back in that direction.]
We should probably tell her that they likely won't come back, if they're that easy to scare off.
[He's sort of frowning at both of them, a little uncertain. They don't seem the way Yamato did, clearly playing a role in a script? On the other hand, the fact that it's Mollymauk gives him a lot of pause. He's wary, but for now. . . ]
Were you following some sort of script? We had to answer questions and do a dance and got assigned a silly story to play out.
[ Sounds like what a fake would say. But Caleb has seemed real, and four people has been the pattern so far, so he'll go with it as they head to the hole, which Dimitri is definitely eyeing with some uncertainty. ]
Yes, we were in a great deal of debt and sent on some sort of quest. Though the area we started in was much different from... [ ??? does this even look like a well ] whatever pile of garbage this is.
[This icon is getting so much use. Anyway he's STUCK AGAIN APPARENTLY AND JUST CURSING COLORFULLY UNDER HIS BREATH he has nothing to verbally add to this conversation because he's too busy being a little ball of irritation and anger. It's probably his sword's fault again, somehow.
Someone either shove his dumb ass through or pull him, god bless.]
I said I'd have a drink now and then at a tavern, and wouldn't adopt several cats! I'm on the road all the time! How does that make me-- Nevermind. You're a beautiful couple. Congratulations. I'm going to get my 999,999 gold from that crying woman now.
[Thanks for getting the love of his life out of that tight hole. Molly's just tail-swishyingly going to climb the rope back up out of the well.]
[Sakyou comes popping out of the hole! Albeit probably scraped up and dirty at this point.
Presumably, everyone follows Molly up the well The woman who originally hired Molly and Sakyou thanks and pays them (but not 999,999 G), and also directs Caleb and Dimitri to a store where they can sell their gems if they wish.
With such a busy day, they should go rest at the inn! Thankfully, it's free to say. Less thankfully, the only room left available has only two single beds. Time to figure out how you're going to share, although maybe you're experts at this after your dorm sorting.
In any case, now that all four of them are together, their scroll/screen will update, putting together their stories.]
Mollymauk and Sakyou Sagihara are two travellers who hail from the Present.
During his travels, Mollymauk entered a relationship with a young noblewoman and eventually became engaged with her. In order to earn her family's approval, he promised them a hefty dowry.
However, he then met Sakyou Sagihara and fell in love. As a result, he broke off his engagement with the woman. Still, he owes the family the dowry he agreed to, and so he must now find a way to earn money and pay what he promised. Sakyou, in his undying love for Mollymauk, has agreed to help pay off this debt.
DEBT: +1,000,000 G
Unfortunately, Mollymauk has also incurred a large tab from the taverns he's been drinking at. Luckily, Sakyou did not make it worse.
DEBT: +500,000 G (Mollymauk)
During their journey together, they come across various cats in need. They elect not to adopt them, therefore not incurring further debt from taking care of them.
Dimitri Alexandre Blaiddyd and Caleb Widogast are two new actors who hail from the Future. While their new relationship is making all the tabloids, their actual acting abilities are... okay, giving them an average salary. Much of their wages go into paying off the 1,500,000 G Caleb's cat-hating drunkard ancestors left him with and that Dimitri generously agreed to help paid off in his undying love for him.
Caleb ends up adopting a few robotic cats. Their maintenance costs add to his debt.

[Congrats! You've almost paid off... the additional debt Caleb accumulated. Anyway, go sleep in your beds now.]
[Well!! THEY'RE HERE NOW, HE GUESSES. IN THIS INN. Why is it a free inn is that not sketch as hell, hopefully it's haunted or filled with secret axe murderers.
Anyway, this is fine. Once they arrive in their single room with two beds, Sakyou's not too bothered by it. He's used to cramming into rooms with like five other bodyguards at a time, even having to bunk up so wildly on campus didn't bother him (but that is also why he fled to the lower floor).]
If we're meant to stay over the night, then I don't need a bed.
[As long as no one SNORES he'll be fine sleeping on the floor.]
[He is reading over all of this nonsense and it is stupid but it does make sense that they would both be on this same adventure? But he's still a little wary of it. Glancing at Dimitri occasionally, making sure they aren't separated, since he doesn't want to be caught alone with Molly. The last time wasn't his favorite.]
The floor is fine for me as well. [He was homeless for a long ass time and he still sleeps in tents these days more often than not.] But are we really staying overnight? This is concerning to me; some of these have lasted a long time.
So it's Mollymauk's fault we're in this predicament.
[ Said dryly, because he doesn't actually beleive it. But anyway, he's also been homeless for... a while, so he's not running for a bed even if they're offered. Caleb or Sakyou can have it, or Molly ends up with two beds. ]
Some of the others were in their experiences for days. But I don't know that we're meant to progress otherwise.
[Well he's definitely making a very sulky face now. His friend is giving him the serious side-eye despite his very believable insistence he's not a fake and everyone is mad at him for not adopting cats. But also like. Looking around at the others who are all offering to sleep on the fucking floor and just going to push the two beds together then? Fuck you guys?]
I was doing what I was repeatedly warned to do! Going along with the suggestions of the strange illusion! Anyway, I don't think there's anything for it but to just keep following it through.
[Oh he feels a little badly about Molly's sulking... He's still claiming a little corner for himself on the floor because he has also been homeless for a while, but he will at least pipe up with:]
We both made decisions that could likely have been better, but at least the goal is relatively clear... I believe? [Like, just erase their debts, right?? He's a little anxious about the fact that they apparently have to be here overnight, but it's fine.]
A few days will be a nuisance, but at least we're prepared for it.
[i hope this comes back to kick his ass. ANYWAY... he'll be trying to clean himself up a bit more in his corner but he'll eventually TRY to catch some zzzs he GUESSES if they're really going to be stuck here.]
[ Oh Molly, don't sulk, he also feels bad. He was so recently dead it feels rude to be any amount of teasing. So he lets Molly have both the beds and goes to take post by the door. ]
I jest, Mollymauk—we have no one to blame for our ludicrous debt.
But we will likely have to jump through hoops to make up for it, so we should rest while we're able. I will stay up as long as I'm able, and sleep lightly in any case.
[ So yeah he'll keep watch until the others fall asleep and then some, but I assume he'll have to pass out eventually for this to continue, so that can happen. ]

Molly rolls a 19, so with his previous practice of sliding into holes and out of them, he goes through smoothly.
Caleb rolls a 18 and expertly goes through.
Dimitri rolls a 10, so he'll get stuck for a bit but he can probably get out on his own after a lot of wiggling.
Meanwhile, Sakyou, on the other hand, gets a 5. Sucks to suck! Someone's going to have to pull him out.]
