FALL COMMON ROOM - WEEK 6

The common room of the Fall Dorm has soft, dimmer lighting; plush carpet over wood; and several comfortable chairs and sectionals. A few big windows overlook the dormitory area of campus, but there is also a single, cozy bay window on one side.

A television and bluetooth surround-sound are here for Fall students who are more inclined to be tech savvy. In the cabinets under the entertainment stand are an assortment of board games, but the television does have a generic "free tv" app for shows and music.

Above the enormous center fireplace is a moody painting.

This week, there's something else.

specialty room.

Through a door on the first floor, there is an antigravity room. Stepping just a few feet through the doorway will lift everyone up into the air. The seating and most of the rest of the room remains somehow rightfully in place on the floor and will not move. Students, however, can grab pillows and blankets, cups or bowls, or other small items to bring into the air with them.

[ You're supposed to do what I tell you.

[He doesn't even realize it's unkind of her to think that tbh.]

[It looks like he might listen now.]

I don't know what I was thinking. I couldn't have run away the entire time.

[... Sir. Ichinose just stares while she watches him dart under a bed, probably on her way out of the bathroom.]

[It's fine! He's just vibing under the bed. Though he does peek out at Ichinose too, like he's waiting to see her reaction.]

[Her reaction is that she's staring at him, slowly blinking.]

Lalli-san, what are you doing?

[silentscout]

It's better under here.

[-protected on most sides, no chance of a sneak attack-]

And more comfortable.

She jumps on the bed.]

[ghoststrums]

[ takes out a spray bottle and squirts him. no. bad lalli.

no but he does kneel so he can peer down at lalli in there ]

... You could have gotten yourself killed with that stunt.

I know. But I'm tired. It's happened too many times.

["It's okay. I'm ready to see my family again."]

[ghoststrums]

[ ... he grabs a pillow and YEETS it under the bed to hit lalli with, snarling ]

Everyone in this stupid school... for once, think about the people you'd hurt if you left them behind!

[ that's about all he can take though so he'll. leave lalli to it. bye ]

[He's hit with a pillow!]

Wait-

[Oh there he goes, bye Yamato.]

[After a while, a pair of familiar sneakers appear beside the bed. And then a bowl is placed on the floor at the edge. It's full of cherries.

And then the sneakers start walking off.]

[silentscout]

[He'll get the cherries in a moment, but for now he's reaching out with a hand to grab onto one of the sneakers.]

...sorry.

[darksubverted]

[The walking stops and turns a bit back. He crouches by the bed, but doesn't look under it.]

You can come hide under my bed later if you want.

[silentscout]

...'kay. I'll come by later.

[He lets go of his shoe now.]
