(ROLE) HONOR SOCIETY
honor society.
On Monday at 6 PM, Yamato and Rita receive an encrypted e-mail.

No one is in the halls as the two of them creep to the "Bakery".
Before they knock, the door will open before their knuckles so much as touch against the surface of the door. The room is filled with the comforting and warm aroma of assorted baked goods, along with the occasional stray scent of something that doesn't belong - is that hot sauce? A table has been set off to the side, topped off with an elegant tablecloth and a vase full of fresh flowers that certainly aren't there during business hours. The table is set for teatime with a kettle full of perfectly steeped tea, dainty containers of sugar and milk, and a small tower of delectable finger sandwiches.
In addition, there appears to be a few items handwritten on fine stationary in curling calligraphy, though it appears a bit shaky in sections. For your use, there also appears to be a pen, a highlighter, and a small pad of sticky notes.

Good day. They say that idle hands are the devil's playthings, don't they? So if you'd be kind enough to entertain me, please gather at the "Bakery" at dusk.
We'd best be getting to work. Come alone, for your safety and everyone else's.
Yours,
Viola

ยป Members of the Honor Society have the following responsibilities: conduct searches for killers, assist others in completing their Extra Credit Assignments, and encouraging the exchange of vouchers for goods and services on campus.
ยป Each week, the Honor Society must agree upon one person to conduct a search on. They will be able to know if this person has killed, if they possess an additional role, and receive a list of every person they have conversed with over the past week.
ยป Members of the Honor Society will be expected to report upon their progress of assisting others with Extra Credit. If Members of the Honor Society have successfully assisted others, they will be able to receive one voucher themselves as well as additional information gleaned by the Society Director.
ยป Of course, the greatest organizations are meant to grow and evolve. Some weeks, you will be able to select provide a list of three to four additional candidates of who you would like to invite to join the Honor Society. Viola will approve one person's membership, limitations and growth pending.
ยป Outside of the Honor Society, you may not express your membership to anyone. Each week, one person outside of the Honor Society may be made aware of its existence and its membership. You must all agree on this person before telling them. However should that number be broken, grave consequences will follow.

What the hell is all of this?
[ vague! unhelpful. rude! didn't even say hi. he is the worst. ]
no subject
he doesn't say hi but viola does a little bob in greeting, like she's trying to curtsy]
Good evening, Yamato.
Well, it's an attempt at getting to work on solving a few things - or at least getting more answers than we currently possess. I can try to answer your questions if you have more specific ones.
no subject
Solving things... more answers? You've got to be kidding me. This thing is talking about us checking people to find killers like it's some kind of twisted game!
no subject
Rather, last week the primary intention of the Honor Society was mostly to help with Extra Credit assignments... but after everything that happened, there was a need to expand its scope.

But in the event that it does happen now that a precedent has been set, is it not better to have a mechanism that would allow for it to be caught?

Oh, forgive me. I keep forgetting that body language is null this week. I shook my head.
No, it is not a joke.

But at present, this is a mechanism that exists in order to try to seek answers in case of a future event.
no subject
So why were the two of us chosen for this?
[looking over at yamato. it probably isn't for their cooperative personalities?]

When I was given this assignment, I was directed to contact both of you. Though I believe I can also make a few educated guesses.

I helped Luxanna with her extra credit.

Would you find it more or less offensive if I were to pay you a compliment?
[she sounds like she's really trying to be mindful of his feelings...]
Regardless, good work. Thank you for your diligence. If Rita is able to help someone by the end of the week, we can see what useful information we earn.
no subject
[ let him perish in peace ]
... So both of us for sure have to help someone to get anything?
no subject
[there's her attempt!]
Hmm, no, I wouldn't say that - but we can probably get something better and likely less vague if you both do. But so long as one of you does something, we'll be able to make progress.
no subject
Then, if the both of us help more than one person, is that better too? Or is there a... threshold limit.
no subject
And that should determine the information we'll get in return. Oh - and you'll receive Vouchers at the end of the week in exchange for your actions, of course.

Oh, you're here. I helped Denji with his extra credit yesterday.
[except it's oocly today because of backthreading ha ha ha]

[she sounds a little tired because what was Today, but tries to perk up her voice]
Thank you for your service. I'll record it and see what we can get next week.
no subject
[she's so relieved... she made it...]
... Hey, when there's three of us here, are we all going to need to do this to get information? Or will two suffice?
no subject
[praise for rita!]
You'll receive information regardless as long as one of you does it - but similarly to how performing these tasks in the first place can warrant better results, the more you do it, I think we'd be able to get better information.
no subject
Got it. I'll keep at it.
There are a few other things I'd been wondering about. Got time?
