FALL COMMON ROOM - WEEK 0

The common room of the Fall Dorm has soft, dimmer lighting; plush carpet over wood; and several comfortable chairs and sectionals. A few big windows overlook the dormitory area of campus, but there is also a single, cozy bay window on one side.

A television and bluetooth surround-sound are here for Fall students who are more inclined to be tech savvy. In the cabinets under the entertainment stand are an assortment of board games, but the television does have a generic "free tv" app for shows and music.

Above the enormous center fireplace is a moody painting.

On one of the tables is a welcome basket.

Through a door on the first floor, there is an antigravity room. Stepping just a few feet through the doorway will lift everyone up into the air. The seating and most of the rest of the room remains somehow rightfully in place on the floor and will not move. Students, however, can grab pillows and blankets, cups or bowls, or other small items to bring into the air with them.

Ishida Yamato. [ suite dorm #2 probably came out a little after lux's own group so he at least seems. calm right now. but his pants are a little wet near the feet area. don't question it ] No one here recognizes where we are, right?

It's... Unfamiliar to me, yes. Though I'm not as traveled as I'd like to be. [ so that only counts for so much. ]

Does it? I've only ever had private tutors, so...

[ like she knows what a school is but not really what it would? look like, necessarily? ]

It's more like a university, I think. [ private tutors... huh ] So you don't remember how you wound up here either?

No. I was outside the walls, and then... Here. I've never even heard of a magic that can do this.

I have. But I don't think any of us went through a gate the normal way to wind up here.

[ sure just say "a gate" like that's not vague ]

So we don't know the location, nor how we came to be here. Wonderful.

And we won't find out by staying in here, either. [ his eyes flit over to the younger (he is 17) crowd ] ... But...

[ some of these people look like they might need a minute. ]

... Even though there doesn't seem to be an active threat, I think it would be wise not to leave alone. I won't stop you, though, if you choose to.

I'm staying here for the time being. Until everyone is a little more at ease. [ there is a very clearly anxious daruma-head, and a boy with a less than apt name that... look like they need a little babysitting. for a while. ]

... There's some people I need to look for. And we need to see what's outside this dorm eventually.

Of course. I'm not staying locked up in here, forever.

Not at all, no. I was near an Old World settlement, and this isn't run down enough to be Old World.
