Most of the worlds people come from don't have principal bears, that's all. I guess what I should be asking is how he got the job. He sounded like he was still getting used to it.

Ah - but I think that's where there's a misunderstanding... There's nothing that makes this school distinctly prone to murder. We've had a very long history without murder. And while I can acknowledge that there's an oddity with your new class being brought here and one of you suddenly choosing to kill another, it's not as if we're founded on the idea of violence.

Chad said there was some incident in school history, and the principal said there was a legacy and rules in place he can't change. It sort of implies that there's a history here that we should probably be concerned about.

That's all correct - the incident happened near the founding, which is why the rules appeared after the murder. Principal Bear didn't have the authority to adjust those, and we must ultimately comply with school tradition in that sense... but it's not as though murder is common or expected. If anything, I find it more odd that it happened just as we ran into the issue with all of your admissions.
But oh... well, it's not up to you to change anyone's minds regarding us. I appreciate the sentiment though. All I can hope for is that people will talk to us and come to their own conclusions. I understand that it's a complicated situation, at least. No one's feelings on us could possibly be straightforward right now.
Probably because our admissions aren't real. Or, if they are, I still haven't seen my application and I can't think of anything that would get me to apply here. I was kinda in the middle of something.
