The man copies the stance, staring(?) at Mandi. And then a bell rings from somewhere, and he immediately lunges forward to try to punch him in the face.
[He's already been in a fight! It ended....with him being burned alive and pchooooed out of a barrel. It's fine! He was a warrior king, after all, even if his heart is going one hundred beats a minute.]
[The man lunges forward, and he ducks and weaves, launching a sideswept fist to smash into the man's ear.]
[G...reat... Will the mystery heavy thing budge if she continues pushing against the door? She will keep her back to the door as she pushes, if possible, in order to watch the fight go down.
And also, you know, just in case someone tries to sneak up on her. She has zero trust.]
[ The fist connects, and the man staggers back. He shakes his head as he tries to regain his footing, before once again moving forward, this time trying to hit Mandi in the stomach.
Whatever's blocking the door does move slightly! It's slow going though, so it may take a while to get it out of the way fully. ]
[Mandricardo tries to dodge back - but his burnt skin smarts from all the movement, and he winces in pain. He'll quickly turn his head over his shoulder, trying to spot where Ichinose is.]

[He's doing his best to keep the heat off her, drawing the eyes of the crowd. He doesn't want to play nice - he'll back up, then make a running leap at the other man, pouncing on him and trying to use his fist to bash down on where he thinks the man's face is.]
[She is just vibing by the door, Mandricardo. This is her door now.
But, actually, as she keeps pushing — will she be able to spot what's blocking the door eventually? Because if she can see it, and she gets enough space to reach through the door, she will try to speed things along by nudging it with the collapsible cage from the pet shop. Not the one Hector is in, obviously. She is not using Hector as a tool today.]
[ It connects, although when his fist touches the actual face, a shock will go through Mandi's body, like he was hit by a small current of electricity. It's probably enough to stun him for just a second, and the man goes to try to strangle him in the mean time.
She'll be able to see that it looks like some sort of large box. Why is there a box there? The cage helps, at least.
[He lets out a confused cry at the electric shock, and then the man's hands are on his throat. He tries to yell, but nothing is coming out - he instead will reach for what he thinks is the other's face to try to jab fingers into whatever eyes he has.]
She bites down her scream, grimacing, knowing that drawing attention to herself will defeat the entire purpose. With the help of the cage, she keeps nudging and pushing the large box away... again. Don't die before she clears their potential exit, sir.]
[ The man yells out in pain, and Mandi will feel his fingers connect with his eyes. That probably doesn't feel great. The man's grip tightens, almost desperately, although he seems to be losing his footing because of the pain.
Meanwhile... Ichinose is doing a great job! Until, from the other side of the door, a hand shoots out between the crack to try to grab wildly at Hector. ]
[He squeezes harder, harder, like he's going to pop the man's eyes out. He has to. The man's grip is tight. Anything to even make him loosen it means he doesn't die here.]
[He lifts his hand and, remembering Catra, slices down using his nails onto the man's face to try to add more pain to the mix.]
Between Mandricardo getting choked out and someone trying to steal Hector, she ain't got no time to fuck around. She yanks Hector's cage back, and immediately slams the edge of the foldable cage against the person's wrist— assuming she can see it. Her intent is to break bone.]
[ Mandi can feel his nails slice into skin, and the man lets out a frustrated yell before he doubles his effort to strangle Mandi-- until he can't. Suddenly, a barrier surrounds Mandi, stopping the opponent from getting near him.
Meanwhile, the hand grabbing onto Ichinose lets go suddenly, and she hears someone swear from the other side. She bought some time.
[Mandricardo leans forward with a hacking cough, trying to catch his breath. What is happening?]
What the hell...do YOU care? You hate animals-! [And gathering some of his energy and focus, he's going to try to sock the man in the head again, harsh.] SHe's doin' fine, no thanks to YOU!
[Is Hector okay? Excellent question! She fucking yeets the collapsible cage through the space in the door out of hope of hitting whoever's on the other side in the face. Bonk? Please bonk? And then she immediately rams into the door again, hoping to knock the large box over onto their mystery person.
Will that work? A mystery! She checks up on Hector first and Mandricardo second.]

[How is Hector looking? Ichinose still has the bottle, brandishing in case anyone else gets grabby. Bad.]
[ Hector is okay but very startled. She is a bat, she has no idea what is happening at all here my dudes. But she's now just flapping around in her cage frantically.
Ichinose can hear a bonk, and she'll then hear something-- someone-- hitting the ground hard.
The man yells, and tries to hit Mandi again after, but... he still can't get past the barrier.
Tanaka replies. ]

[Sorry, Ichinose, he's getting more angry because of dear Tanaka-san - still a bit surprised by the barrier, he's leaping down from the man, moving in to sucker punch him deep into the gut.]

The crowd continues to cheer as Mandi fights. He lifts up an arm to signify that he's giving up... and the door opens. Uh, Mandi is going to have to get out of the way very quickly, because the crowd is going to rush in to continue beating on the fallen man.

[The fight is over. Mandricardo, huffing, draws back - but is shocked at the rush of people inside the cage. Panicking, he manages to squeeze out of the entrance, looking back as he rushes over to Ichinose.]

They're now back on a main road, but a different one from before. The sun has freshly risen, so there aren't many noises of people out and about. They can either go left or right on the road.
