SPRINGLE - WEEK 0

common room.
In the common room, the walls have been painted with photo-like pictures of forests and lakes, and spread across the ceiling is a depiction of the night sky. One wall is lined with bookcases, the books ranging from fiction to non-fiction as well used course textbooks. More bookcases have been used to section off one corner for a study area, with a desk and chair provided.
Elsewhere, there are a few couches and chairs, most seated around a coffee table and with throw blankets tossed over them if you need the extra warmth. On the table is a bowl of healthy and semi-healthy snacks, regularly stocked. (Nearby is a garbage can.)
This week, there is a welcome basket near the bowl.
specialty room.
Past an entrance in the common room, a mini coffeehouse has been set up, with express machines for those who just want their coffee now and slightly more advanced equipment for aficionados. It offers a variety of strength levels and flavors to accommodate tastes all across the spectrum, along with a teapot and packets of caffeinated and non-caffeinated tea for those who prefer a different drink. There's a sink if you want to use your own mug, but otherwise, disposable cups are provided for you to use.
Please use this as an open post for members of Spring Dorm. You may post top-levels whenever you'd like and go wild. A new post will go up at the start of each week.
Common Room
He turns around to face everyone who's present, looking his most furious to date.]
What's going on?

Did someone lock the door?
no subject
--Hey, watch where you put your gross feet, you...!
[oh something else is going on]
Wait, it's not opening!?
no subject
What's gross about my feet!?

Did anything like this ever happen to you before?

Not exactly like this. [just as quietly.] A little different.
[but similar enough that he's not thrilled and he's a little more than on-edge. nevertheless he looks away from the door to face her.]
You okay?

The. Thing-- ? Fuck, whatever it's called, it isn't working either.
no subject
And they said there's no magic here. Do you think trying to break the windows or door will yield any results?
no subject
[Irritated now, shoving his stupid useless phone in his pocket and going over to join the crew that's like. Window testing. He just presses on the glass at first. Like that's gonna help.]
Got anything to throw through it? Something heavy.

Anyway while everyone else is off throwing tables and potentially getting bearnapped on the third floor, Sakyou's going to try stabbing literally every available window with increasing vigor. Like, not through the glass, but attempting to get between the cracks so he can jimmy it. Obviously this is not going to work but he's so determined, god bless.
Actually at some point he might get frustrated and just yell and strike the glass itself but it's fine.]

[she sounds tense, because guess who ALSO HATES THIS, but she gets his attention first before stepping any closer; he'll get a hand set on his shoulder from where he can, you know, see it, she's not out to surprise an upset guy with a sword from behind.]
I get it, I do, but- I don't think that's going to work.
